In fact, this is one of my older MOCs that I have built over two years ago. Some of you probably already know it from my Brickshelf gallery or Brothers-Brick. I have only reviewed some of the photos and they are now displayed in a slightly higher resolution.
For everyone who does not know it yet: this MOC is my favorite mecha from the Classic BattleTech series...in fact it is a Robotech design, but in the beginning it was also used for Battletech until it became "unseen"...whatever...I love this 75 ton steel monster...even if it is made of plastic....
I know, I know...it's a well known photo but I couldn't resist. It was soooo tempting. The lighting was excellent, the jelly fish were putting on a show and...I had my camera!

Those who know me and are my online friends will know I’ve had a Flickr profile and photostream almost from the very beginning of its existence. You’ll also know that recently after Flickr took the decision to try and enforce their profit-making on my efforts that I decided to leave.
In typical style though (and after a lot of hassle getting my profile reset to ‘safe’ with Flickr) I decided to keep a small presence here, with some ‘vanilla’ samples of my photos which are really here just for those whose photos I ‘like’ to be able to see who’s liking them.
So although my active presence here on Flickr has all but ended its not all bad news. Upon deciding on a new home online I’ve recently undertaken the business of moving my main active presence to Fetlife. Not only have I fallen upon a community who are right on exactly the same wavelength as me, but also (and partly because of recent events here on Flickr) it’s encouraged me to share all of my X Rated content I never shared on here.

Did you know the James Webb Telescope mirrors were first tested in #NASAMarshall's X-ray and Cryogenic facility. The XRCF at Marshall is the world's largest x-ray optical test facility and provides evaluation and readiness testing for advanced telescope mirrors, video guidance systems, and other space structures in thermal environments to 20 Kelvin. True, and good point. The thing is, this is the first instance with my (new to me and very low-priced) PowerShot G9 where I was able to make the camera do exactly what I wanted it to do. I'm sure some of you know what I mean....that joy and jubilation of a new discovery.
Besides, the Starbucks around here is so very good to me. It's only proper to give them more visibility.
I know some of you don't like HDR, so look away now....
This is what happens when someone who doesn't know the first thing about HDR and Tonemapping...'acquires' the software to do so. Hand-held too :)

Since I've been forcing myself to be positive about fate's plans for me over the past couple of weeks, I will not dwell on temporary set-backs today either. Everything happens in its own time. Just because you have your own ideas about how and when things should play out doesn't mean that's the way they were meant to be. I will be patient. I know there are wonderful and amazing things in store for me somewhere down the line. I will comfort myself in that knowledge.

I know where the Grey Wagtails are nesting so took a chance on looking for the chicks. Found this little one on the ground. I picked it up and put it on a small wooden structure so it was off the floor and hoped the parents would feed it. I waited a few minutes and sure enough one of the came in several times to feed it. Nice. See next photo.

I was sitting on a terrace in a square in San Sebastian where a group of musicians entertained the aperitif.
At the end of his performance this man appeared from I do not know where, greeting the audience with his hand between the applause of the respectable and left.
Meanwhile, I was shooting with a camera comfortably sitting in the shade without knowing who I was photographing.
It is possible that it is someone very well known in the area. I dont know. If someone can inform me, I will be very grateful.
It's a "stolen" photo and maybe I'm getting into a mess, but for me it's just one of the many photos I have in my files and that one day, it occurred to me to edit it to see if I could get something decent.
I liked the result and there it is. Nothing else.

Al terminar su actuación este señor apareció de no sé donde, saludo a la audiencia con la mano entre los aplausos del respetable y se fue.
Mientras, yo iba disparando con cámara cómodamente sentado a la sombra sin saber a quién fotografiaba.
Es posible que sea alguien muy conocido en la zona. No sé. Si alguien puede informarme, le estaré muy agradecido.
Es una foto "robada" y quizá me estoy metiendo en un lio, pero para mí solo es una de tantas fotos que tengo en mis archivos y que un día cualquiera, se me ocurrió editarla a ver si sacaba algo decente.

I thought I would give everyone a break from the D-fly's and Naturey crap. So here's a little water drop on a CD using the macro lens...and a little tune from Train to accompany it : ))

Another flower shot at the SD Zoo and it was unmarked. Very exotic and loves heat (it was in the African part of the zoo).
And when he was alive, he asked me quite a few times to paint him. I kept saying no because I really don't want to paint people. But of course, after he died 6 months ago, I started thinking about it and began trying to paint him. I'm working off a photo I took of him some years back, a photo I always really loved. It was lit by one candle and he had Sammy, our first mini long hair doxie resting on his arm.
I know this isn't good, and it's the first and only portrait I will ever attempt. It's not finished yet but because today is Phil's birthday, I wanted to honor him and show him that I'm trying.
Sometimes, while working on this, my vision is a little blurry from tears in my eyes, so forgive the obvious imperfections. But it's coming from deep in my heart and soul.
Happy Birthday Oopie (yes, I called him Oopie) and I miss you so much. Now more than before even. I know today I'd normally be baking you a cake and giving you some goofy card to make you laugh. Obviously, that's no longer possible so I will settle for the memories, the good and the bad, and the fun and the sad and hope that where ever you are now, I will be one day also.

Looking at the roof is classic Budd. Built by the Budd Company in 1949 as a twenty-one roomette sleeping car, it was purchased by the Pennsylvania Railroad as number 8269 and named Lock Haven Inn. Later rebuilt as a coach and renumbered 1525, this car would see service in various commuter operations in New Jersey and Maryland after its time on Penn Central. I know I’m late to the party but finally got a few pictures of Neowise. Photo location was in the Chino Valley just off AZ 89. To the far right are the San Francisco Mountains in Flagstaff, about 50 mile northeast with Humphreys Peak at 12,633'. Wow, what an incredible universe we live in! Later this week and next it’ll be closer to earth and to the northwest in the evening sky.
I know that the flowers won't be blooming any time soon, but it's exciting to know that it's officially "the first day of spring!" Woot~ The sun is shining....have a wonderful week end.
Ok I know this photo is super boring and everything. But it finally snowed on Saddleback and I just really wanted a photo where you could see the snow, because this hardly ever happens. Except you can't really even tell that there is snow. You can barely even tell that its a mountain in this photo. And I know you can see in the photo in the comments that there is barely any snow, but this is orange county and it never gets this cold so it always makes me happy when it snows:)
