The K9 is a derivative of the BH-L (VI) platform shared by the Hyundai Equus and Genesis. It is the first rear-wheel-drive sedan Kia offered in the United States and Canada.
In Canada, the K900 can be fitted with either a 315 PS (232 kW; 311 bhp) 3.8L GDI V6, producing 293 lb·ft (397 N·m) of torque or the same 5.0L GDI V8 as the US market.

Since 2019 Kia is selling the Proceed as a 5-door shooting-brake. In the previous generation the Pro-Cee'd was a 3-door coupé. It has Kia's new logo, in use since 2021.
The Kia Picanto is a city car produced by the South Korean manufacturer Kia since 2004. It is also known as the Kia Morning in South Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Chile, Kia EuroStar in Taiwan (first generation), Kia New Morning in Vietnam and the Naza Suria or Naza Picanto in Malaysia (first generation). The Picanto is manufactured at the Donghee joint-venture plant in Seosan, South Korea.
