Bit newer than everyday stuff I'd usually photograph, but I thought the saloon versions of these in particular will disappear quite quickly and this might be useful reference in years to come.
Dent in the rear quarter added to its charm...
Kia's all new 2011 Optima. This is a preproduction model so there may be some changes. I hope they don't change much cause DAMN this is one nice looking car.
The Kia Pride is a subcompact car sold by the South Korean automobile manufacturer Kia Motors between March 1987 and January 2000, and again since September 2011. Between April 2005 and September 2011 the Kia New Pride had been sold.
Original models derived from the Ford Festiva and sold in South Korea and some export markets. Between 2005 and 2011, the New Pride was the South Korean market name for the Kia Rio JB sold in export markets. The Pride sold since 2011 is also based on the Rio—this time the UB series.

Taxed for over 12 months (although it's still the old disc in the car) - now that's an owner who cares. I saw the older couple park this - it's quite a way from the supermarket as you can tell by the fact that it is surrounded by empty spaces. That's the way to keep a car looking this good for 16 years. I had just left my car when I saw them pull up, but I correctly gambled that I could get around Morrisons quicker than they could :-)
In excellent condition, apart from a bit of scuffing on the front wheel trim and a crack in the rear one. Registered on the last day of August - I like to think it was registered by the dealer to meet their target and bought by the current owners as a bargain, as this is from the era when Kia was very much a budget brand.
