When we came back to our parked car, this vehicle was right behind us and I thought the logo and grill would make an interesting shot, particularly in B&W.

It's a very rare car in France and I've never seen one before here. I'm not sure if it was available in France or not.

On January 15, 2018 at the 2018 North American International Auto Show in Detroit, Michigan, Kia unveiled the third generation Forte sedan. Taking styling cues from the Kia Stinger, the new Forte adopts a cab rearward exterior, resulting in a fastback profile and a short trunklid. The car is constructed with 54% advanced high-strength steel that is stronger than the outgoing model. The Forte will be offered with a 2.0L I4 carried over from the second generation model mated to either a six-speed manual transmission or Kia's first CVT.
The all-new Forte was designed by Kia lead designer Peter Schreyer, who also designed the Kia Stinger. The exterior profile of the 2019 Forte resembles that of the Stinger, and certain interior styling cues, such as a "Floating" center display touchscreen for the infotainment system, and round HVAC vents, were taken directly from the Stinger as well.
The Forte is sold under the Cerato nameplate in many international markets, including Australia, where it was the ninth best-selling vehicle in 2019. In Australia the Cerato is sold both as a sedan and a 5-door hatchback (shown).
I photographed this Bulgarian registered Kia back in April, and its still displaying the livery of the Bulgarian soft drinks company that used to own it.
The 60 ft Coastal schooner Kia Ora has an interesting tale to tell. Built in 1980 at Port Townsend on the renowned L. Frances Herreshoff “Joann” design, by a New Zealander, she has competed in international yacht races, sailed to New Zealand, and around the Caribbean. Her cement hull is actually lighter than wooden schooners of the same size. Kia Ora is somewhat of a rarity—there are only two schooners on the West Coast like her. Kia Ora means “welcome” or “good-bye” in the Maori language spoken by native New Zealanders. Her flags seem to be saying it too, and they make an interesting image in the shadow on the foresail. I hard to see Russia 2018 promotions in Chile. Since our team didn't qualify, most companies seems to have thought the World Cup depressed customers or something like that.
Kia Motors have come a LONG LONG way from their budget origins and memories of cast off Mazda 121's wearing white wall tyres! As part of Hyundai they are now one of the Worlds largest car companies yet until now I haven't possessed a SINGLE 1/64 model wearing their badge, it seems they are still ignored by the vast majority of the Worlds toy industry. Surprising then that the very Germanic Siku have bucked this trend by recently bringing out this model of the latest generation Kia Sorento SUV and a casting i've been eager to find since I first saw pictures of it on the internet.
If you can get past those truly naff looking wheels which Siku persist in using this is an excellent rendition of the Sorento which benefits from the usual Siku touches such as build quality guaranteed to withstand even the roughest of play and solid feeling opening doors. Plenty of detailing of course especially at the front with its proud large grille and KIA badging. Bought recently from the Berlin branch of Toys R Us. Mint and boxed.

Kia Sportage 1.6 Automático
Este fue el protagonista del viaje. Era de Hertz, no me fío de los chollos barateros, además ya el año pasado me hice socio, gratis, y tengo descuento por el RACE, etc.
Inicialmente yo había reservado un tipo Opel Zafira, por el tema del maletero y los bultos, además de diesel y automático.
Según luego me dijeron, ahora no tienen vehículos diesel, por el tema de las restricciones, asi que tenía que ser de gasolina, y automático, porque lo probé el año pasado, me gustó y es una cosa menos a preocuparte en un coche que coges y te lanzas a la carretera..
¿Me gustó?, pues como dice un compañero, no me lo compraría. Es bastante grande por fuera pero luego por dentro no tanto. El principal requisito, el maletero, no tiene una forma regular, y aunque nosotros siempre viajamos con bolsos que se adaptan mejor a los recobecos, en el viaje de vuelta traíamos además maletón y maletas, e incluso tuvimos que deshacer una mochila y parte de nuestros bolsos, para meter botas, ropa sucia, regalos, bolsas de aseo, etc en el hueco de la rueda de repuesto bajo el maletero y en otros huecos laterales
En el interior 4 adultos van bien pero sin más, los asientos de cuero, sobre todo cuando dejas el coche al sol, sobran, y el techo acristalado que solo puedes abrirlo o llevarlo cerrado con la cortinilla, también.
El motor creo que va un poco justo sobre todo con el climatizador puesto, y la caja de cambios que creo que era una DSG7, bien aunque al mínimo repecho bajaba a 6 o incluso 5 para mantener la velocidad programada, y se notaba el tirón.
En cuanto al consumo a la ida con 3 adultos fue de unos 7,5l, pero a la vuelta con 4 adultos, cargado y siempre con el climatizador fue de 7,9l., teniendo en cuenta que todo el trayecto fue por autopista (116-120km/h) y el programa ECO.
Lo cogí con 11.506km y lo devolví con 16.274km.

With the Hino Selega inspired platform, Kia Granbird (기아 그랜버드) was first rolled out in 1994 to compete with Hyundai Aero and Daewoo BH series in the tourist and express bus sector. More than a decade later in 2007, the second generation model was introduced. Four variants were available - the 3,475 mm tall flagships: "Silkroad" and "Sunshine" and the 3,355 mm tall "Parkway" and "Bluesky".
A Picanto van was a new one on me. I suspect these aren't generally available in the UK, but perhaps more common in Ireland.
The fourth generation of the Kia Sportage is on the market since 2015. This one is from Austria, registered in Innsbruck. Cars with Austrian license plates are not a common sight in this part of Germany.
