This is my first ROTD journal. For the cover I used a canvas fabric and left over pieces of red, black and denim fabric. Lots of stitching and embroidering.
For the three signatures, I used scrapbookpaper, pages of my old study books, a 1948 cookbook, envelopes and more.
I created this cover on my journal, which I think will make a great Gratitude Journal. To read more, visit red Ravine post This Thanksgiving Weekend, Make A Gratitude Journal.

This is just a random mishmash of a lot of different stuff. The Unicorns in the top corner cracked me up...not what you usually think of when you think of a unicorn. The face is from Tesha Moore's journal art pages. She has some awesome stuff. Pastels, watercolor, clippings, metallic marker, crayon, colored pencil, sharpie.

The idea for these journals came during a healers retreat in Scotland in Summer 2009; most retreat participants travelled with hand luggage only and when it came to noting experiences and teachings, beautiful notebooks or journals were not available to note down our insights and thoughts.
Whilst at the retreat, Moonpoppy developed a love of photography and was delighted to take some stunning shots of the surrounding Bay. From these photographs, she made birthday journals for friends and they were received so well, the idea for making the journals available for others was borne, incorporating as many recycled material as possible.
We hope you enjoy using the journals just as much as we love creating them for you.
I combined assignments 35 and 34 to make this work. I used the wrap this page to "wrap" the Wreck this Journal that I gave my friend Gabby. I was flicking through the book and and I saw the give away your favorite page. I figured that since I was already giving away a page, I may as well decorate it like some of my favorites.

A heart needs to enlarge so it can continually grow to feel more love, to give more love to others.
My new art journal illustrate an expending heart, once it was small and knotted, timid and shy, but it keep growing to reach a bigger heart. As a bigger heart it loads more different views and content, and it also can bare more. It’s on fire and zealous.
Enlarge your heart, and let it grow in DEPTH, LENGTH, HEIGHT & WIDTH.

I love journal spots for scrapbooking! Sometimes I just have a little note and these are perfect for that "little something"!! OR, they certainly can make great gift tags as well!!
I have started with shipping tags and chalked them for a fantastic vintage feel! Using my {favorite} pigment ink color, chocolate brown, I stamped all the images! The large tags measure 2-3/8" x 4-3/4" each. The little tags are 1-3/8" x 2-3/4". The circles are a chocolate brown cardstock that measures 2-1/5", the inside scallop is a lighter brown cardstock!
