Alwaleed Philanthropies today joined UN Women’s groundbreaking public-private initiative, “Making Every Woman and Girl Count,” which aims to improve the production, accessibility and use of gender statistics of around the world. Through better production and use of data that record the realities of women and men, girls and boys, this flagship initiative supports a more timely and efficient implementation of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), a universal roadmap adopted by world leaders in 2015 to achieve sustainable development by 2030.

One of the final steps of pontoon construction is the application of "neoprene" sheets. These sheets help distribute the force during the joining process.
Here, supplemental Pontoon U-NE is being prepared for joining to longitudinal Pontoon U.
I had one of the best days I've had in a long time. My dear friend asked me to take a few photos of her for a personal project. Depending on how I edit them, some of them may get posted here. I might post them friends/family only. I haven't decided yet. However, while freezing our asses off, and me nearly getting swept away by the current, Maverick was determined to get closer to us. He doesn't know he can swim, so he kept trying to climb on this branch. He wanted to be close, but the water was...well, sub zero I'm certain. My nipples are still well anyway. I had to post this, he was too hilarious =)

A new house was just finished by all the villagers, so the new owner invited them for a lunch. Women on a side, men on the other. It's not possible to refuse the rice alcool that they offer. The mood was festive, with lot of beer (chinese, less expensive and with bigger bottles) and opium!
