Today Is rare Disease day and I want for everyone to know what I have. Primary Ciliary Dyskinesia (PCD) is a disease that causes a chronic cough, recurrent infections of the lung (bronchitis and/or pneumonia), and scarring of the airways (bronchiectasis). It also causes chronic sinusitis, and ear infections (otitis media).
I have PCD and Bronchiectasis and I think that having those diseases does not define me but it made the person I am today. I care for people, and it have made me compassionate. And of course I couldn't have made if it wasn't for our God Jehovah.

I am new to Flickr and enjoy the photos very much. I am also A friend of Jim and Linda. I recived a call this morning letting me know that Jim came thru the opperation wonderfully. Linda is doing good, the next three days will be the hardest, But we all know That Jim and Linda are very special and I can only see good things happening for them.

My name is Cami. I will be 26 years old in three weeks. I am thought to be the oldest to have ever lived with my syndrome known as Stuve-Wiedemann Syndrome. I have been through a lot and have the amazing support of my family, friends, and health care providers to keep me going. I go through spurts of time where my health issues never slow down, but then I get a rest for a month or so before it speeds back up. I consider my health a full time job as it is a lot of work to take care of myself. I am so grateful for communities like this to make awareness!

This is the memorial facing Horse Guard's Parade Ground, on the edge of St. James Park, dedicated primarily to all those lost in the First World War from the Grenadier, Scots, Welsh, Irish and Coldstream Guards, and then latterly to those lost in World War II and in service to their country between the two conflicts.
Four of the five soldiers on the monument also appeared on the cover of "Siouxsie & the Banshees" second album "Join Hands", released in 1979, and as anyone who knows me will verify, I'm a HOOOGE Siouxsie fan, so getting to shoot this was a bit of a treat for me :)

In December, my mom was diagnosed with a large Tarlov Cyst in her sacral spine. The cyst makes it difficult for her to stand for long periods of time and she has to use a wheelchair if we go out for a long time. Not much is known about Tarlov Cysts and this makes it hard for my mom to find the doctors and treatments that can help her. She still tries to put a smile on her face and do fun things with us, even though it is painful for her to do so.
