Czech Republic might be located in the middle of Europe, with the nearest sea located about 700km far away, however once upon the time, it used to be submerged in warm tropical sea waters. Main evidence of that are very unique multiple rocky sandstone towns created by forces of nature through millennia.
There are 4 different areas or those spectacular rocky towns - Bohemian Switzerland National Park (České Švýcarsko Národní park), Bohemian Paradise Protected Landscape Area (Český Ráj), Kokořínsko Protected Landscape Area & Adršpach.
This timelapse video captures some iconic locations in the first 3 mentioned areas.

Middle East is not known for its amazing sunsets, but occasionally something spectacular occurs. This cloud with setting sun was perfectly positioned just next to the tallest building in the world - iconic Burj Khalifa.

Paphos Fort might not be the most impressive castle I have ever seen, but the location on a lovely crystal clear beach of Mediterranean Sea helps to come up with at least bit more interesting photo of otherwise rather simple square box building.

Europe - Portugal - Lisboa Region - Sintra-Cascais Natural Park - Sintra - Praia da Adraga - Adraga beach near Colares - North Atlantic beach with stunning scenery of cliffs, jagged rock out crops and golden sand - Considered by The Sunday Times one of the 20 most beautiful beaches in Europe
This near-perfect beach was considered one of Europe's best by The Sunday Times, and ranked number two in The Independent's list of top 10 Portugal beaches. Close to Sintra, and just 15km (9miles) north of Guincho, it is wedged between tall cliffs and has clean blue waters. It is no longer a secret and gets its number of sunbathers, but beyond the cliffs there is plenty of space and seclusion.
It is always so great to shoot at stunning location as Adraga beach near Colares is. Weather was very changeable and rather misty, mysterious and wild at the same time. Portugal is blessed with such a dramatic coast that is a joy to visit and photograph.

I wanted to come up with slightly different approach to classic take of Tuscany. I have not seen many night photos from Val d'Orcia and none at all of those curvy roads at night, so this was great fun. Althought most of it was spent praying that some car would be passing by ;)

Another shot of mysterious frozen bubbles. This photo has both interesting ice factors - those bubbles, but also long deep crack in the ice. It was relatively difficult to guess how deep the ice is, but judging by the size of some of those cracks, it must have been in range of 30-40 cm. It was my 1st time ever on such a frozen lake and it was absolutely amazing and also terrifying in the evening when the ice started to settle down and created scary sounds when these giant pieces of ice moved a bit. If I were to compare it something, it sounded like an explosion from nearby stone mine, very deep powerful "boom" like sounds.

Italy - Italia - Sicily - Sicilia - Riposto fishing town on shores of Mediterranean sea under active Etna Volcano in background
It is always fascinating to be nearby volcano, especially when it is active. The smoke on the photo is from the Etna and it still carries the remaining colors from the sunset. Sicily is on my list to return at some point and I hope to have Etna active again (in safe distance).

WOW, this stunning black volcanic sandy beach is one of Iceland's top tourist attractions if not THE main one and you can see why.
Huge icebergs drop off the glacier and into the lagoon before they slowly make there way under the road bridge and out into the Atlantic ocean before being thrown onto the beach ready to be photographed by millions of photographers. Except this time round a couple of weeks ago, there was not too many shooters on hand and we were able to walk around the various gorgeous glistening icebergs that sit idly on the beach until the next big wave comes in and repositions them.
Here is an image I captured during the last throws of light for the day before driving back to Vik for the night. As tough as Iceland was to get around due to the huge snow blizzards, 90mph winds and numerous road closures, the scenery was outstanding and I never wanted to leave once my week finished.

During my trip to Iceland, I visited a lot of interesting locations.
While I was heading to Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon, I saw some stunning crepuscular rays, so I changed photo location and headed to the Ice Beach instead.
Fortunately there were not many photographers so I could walk calmly. After a bit, I found the perfect jewel for my photograph.

Europe - Belgium - Wallonia - Namur Province - Upper Meuse valley - Dinant - Historical town on the River Meuse with citadel, the collegiate church and the Meuse at Dusk - Twilight - Blue hour - Night
Not particularly well known town, but very lovely regardless, especially at dusk. The only mystery we could not solve was why they lit the whole rock behind the town but not the lovely cathedral. The river Meuse was beautifully still, which helped with the wonderful reflection of the historical town.
