Speeding east upstream
Looks to have a fair sprint on whilst heading east past Greenock Waterfront.
Jetstream T.1 XX496 was one of 26 aircraft ordered from Scottish Aviation Ltd at Prestwick for multi-engined pilot training in the RAF. This aircraft, in No. 45 Squadron markings, notched up 11,368 flying hours and made 32,567 landings before its final to the RAF Museum, Cosford, in March 2004.
Jetstream 41 G-MAJK taxies past at Manchester with the VOR station visible behind. In British Airways house colours, it was actually operated on their behalf by British Regional Airlines, owned by Michael Bishop of British Midland fame.
Surprisingly, as of 2022, G-MAJK still flies as such, but for Eastern Airways.

Just wish I had kept an eye on the shutter speed as 1/4000 has stopped the props! I was trying to capture the fast jets.......

The sky was an amazing Blue yesterday as this plane flew by casting its line :-)

Using Hoya slim polar filter
As I was focusing on my shot at the sunset, my wife alerted me the jetstream above the sky. I thought it looked cool with the sunset and decided to take a vertical shot of the scene.
As the title says and at an Air Atlantique Open day at Coventry-Baginton. Massive cloudburst about to break-we got indoors just ahead of it.

Leave the things you don't need
And the ones that you don't love
Faith and hope
Keeps our minds together
Your heart's left the ground tonight
Scattered lost in light
Seems that I've been waiting here forever
Please note this aircraft is not accessible to the public, The perks of having a meeting on site were access to this storage area.

The above image is a scan from an original Kodachrome™ slide. The default size is 2000 x 1250 pixels, so clicking on the photo will enlarge it for better viewing.
The original image comes from my slide collection, amassed over the past 40+ years. They are a combination of my own photographs and ones acquired through trades or purchases.
I created this Photostream in 2017 for the purpose of holding my slide collection as an archive, as otherwise they would just remain in binders and boxes, not being enjoyed by anyone, myself included.
Comments are welcome.
