A good portion of my visit to Ricketts Glen was spent hunting down "swirlies". This one wasn't hard to find.

Royal Navy Jetstream seen low level in the Mach Loop. I only ever shot two of these at LL and they were both on the same day, five minutes apart. 02/03/2004.

Here I am standing near the robot in the entrance to my club!

C-FREQ, a British Aerospace BAe3112 Jetstream 31, climbing out from runway 26 at Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport in Toronto, Ontario. It was departing to Chatham, Ontario while being operated by Chartright Air Inc. of Mississauga, Ontario.

First flown as the Handley Page HP.137 Jetstream on August 18, 1967, this design has aged well over the past half century.

A shot from earlier this year when I was lucky enough to find some Beardies feeding at the edge of the reeds on ice. I was lying on cut reed covered in mud with water slowly soaking into my clothes and I was loving every minute of it.

I know it's futile, and not a little egotistical, to wish for a change in the weather - however if that jetstream can move there'd be colder air and clearer skies again. And me and the camera would be grinning.

This Jetstream 32 has been decaying at Cranfield for many years. The paint is now so badly faded you can see its former Coast Air titles and reg, LN-FAC.
