A trio of Scottish Aviation Jetstream T.2s from 750 Naval Air Squadron lined up for take-off during RNAS Culdrose's 1979 Open Day.
The aircraft are (right to left): XX476 'CU/561", XX479 'CU/563', XX483 'CU/562'.

Eastern Airways in May 2017 launched service from Glasgow to Isle of Man, after the closure of Citywings.
Manufacturer: Scottish Aviation, Model: HP-137 Jetstream T.2, 2 Turbo-Prop engines - Turbomeca Astazou XVI. Built 1981, delivered in June 1982 and flew exclusively with 750 Naval Air Squadron at RNAS Culdrose. Retired in 2011, she was kept RNAS Culdrose and used ground instruction. In June 2017 she was moved (by helicopter) to the fire pits at nearby Predannack, for fire and rescue training by the Royal Naval School of Flight Deck Operations.
Due to the fog there was no operation on the airfield this day.

Departing Dublin Airport 11th October 2015 bound for Cardiff in Wales with irish rugby supporters for the Ireland V France World Cup clash, Ireland ran out eventual victors 24-9, and book a place in the quarter finals against Argentina.

XX485 of 750 squadron on finals for runway 11 of Royal Navy Air Station Culdrose. Lots of traffic with some Jetstreams, Gazelles and Sea Kings in the circuit. The Jetstreams were still fairly new in 1982.

Dawn breaks in Williamson Park Lancaster and the sky has its pastel hues behind the Ashton Memorial.
I had an early morning start in a golf event which meant passing through Lancaster at sunrise. The sky looked like it could get interesting so I did a slight detour and caught this shot before heading to the Golf Club. The sky unfortunately lost some of the cloud I had seen and the colours were lost, but hey it was worth the try.
Ashton Memorial, Williamson Park, Lancaster. Built in memory of Lord Ashton‘s second wife, Jessie, the memorial is a grand gesture to the town where Lord Ashton grew up and made a large part of his wealth.
Jessie Ashton died in 1904.
Standing around 35m (150ft) tall, the white Portland Stone structure, with copper clad dome, contrasts sharply with nearby woodland.
Ashton Memorial design
The Ashton Memorial was designed by Sir John Belcher and his partner John James Joass.
It officially opened on 24 October 1909 and is the centre piece to the 54 acres that make up Williamson Park.
Created from a disused quarry, Williamson Park provided work for many local residents who had lost their jobs due to the cotton famine caused by the American Civil War.
