Martin dug this carrot up in the polytunnel & I just had to name him Jake & give him his moment of Flickr fame before chopping him up & boiling him for Sunday dinner. Slid a little with Prisma App for Sliders Sunday HSS & HMMM!
Much less known than Lake Louise, Two Jake Lake is still very interesting. It is located a few miles from Banff and is an arm of Lake Minnewanka.

I haven't been on Flickr much but some of you may remember Jake and Joey. We lost Jake yesterday just a month short of their 20th birthday. We are so sad. (Jake is the white one)
Jake has stashed dozens and dozens of peanuts in this area, now all he has to do is find them again. Actually, he seems to do that pretty well. Corvids, doncha know.

Jake had a good time this evening. He gets to board when I go to Cape Hatteras later this month. He will get a much needed bath and a nice grooming while he is boarding.
I've started testing with agency models and that's going rather well. Here's Jake B at Gingersnap in London. I shot him in my warehouse and styled him myself... so I'm pretty happy with the outcome.

Jake meets Batman and Robin (much cooler uniforms than when I was a kid). The guy playing Robin was a champ, marshalling the kids, reassuring the frightened ones, etc. Nicely done, Boy Wonder.

Jakes Creek flows through Elkmont, running behind several of the old abandoned cabins. This was probably prime real estate once, but now the cabins along the creek are abandoned and falling down.
Elkmont is in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park in Tennessee.
One of the highest tides of the year has flooded the salt marsh around Jakes Island, a hill in China Camp State Park that, despite its name, is normally not an island.

I'm Jake. I came to live with Anita and Dave in May, when my person couldn't cope with having me anymore.
I like to play with Chaco, but Moqui and I pretty much ignore each other.
I'm up at CSU Veterinary Teaching Hospital because my new Mom figured out that I have multiple medical issues. They did surgery on a mast cell tumor and now I'm getting chemotherapy for it. I don't mind the chemo--it's actually nice to have some alone time with Mom, and I don't have any side-effects from it.
When that's finished I hear I have another operation coming up for a hypothyroid issue. Wow. I never had so much attention in my life.
