This jacket is adapted from a pattern that I bought from Ravelry called Candy Pink Baby Cardigan by Mon Petit Violin. The actual pattern has a small collar and ties at the neck but my f riend prefers buttons and no collar. I added 23 small buttons instead. The wool was some vintage baby quickerknit that I had in stash. The photo of the pattern can be seen behind the jacket showing how the jacket appears on the pattern
A spring coat sewn by me using Peekaboo's starboard jacket pattern. Outside is a Gor tex like windproof fabric, Care Bear print is a quilting panel, inside is lined in dotted flannel,--hidden inside is a layer of fleece....it zips up and has cute kangaroo pockets
2 pieces of plywood bolted together. These will be the separating halves of the jacket mold. A flat mating surface makes sure the mold is always secured tight to prevent leaks
I presume some random member of staff got picked to model this. I'd love to get hold of one now! I remember my stepdad having one in the '80s, not sure if it was exactly this style but certainly along these lines.

In our second version we wanted toput more of ourselves into the poster and to make it look like the type was trying to make sense in the madness of colour and mark making. We signed our own names at the bottom and placed Fletcher's name at the top to show that it was his quote and ultimately a tribute in his name.

As a kid, I always admired older teens with elaborately decorated leather jackets in New York. They were popular, as I grew up in Manhattan in the 1970s. I bought a motorcycle jacket at some point and always meant to decorate it. That I didn't really get started until now is sort of silly. But, I was in the midst of a "thirty days of making" marathon, and it seemed like a good time to get started. Is it ever too old to DIY?
These are from the sleeves — there are two triangular patches behind the zippers at the ends of the sleeves, and these seemed like good places to experiment.
Butterscoth sueded silk combined with overlays of silk organza is stitched in a variation of the sashiko pattern "mist" to suggest gentle waves in water.
