My beloved very old blue jean jacket. I wore out its collar, wore holes in its cuffs, put stains on it I can't get out. But there is a comfort, reassurance and sense of myself to this jacket that nothing new, beautiful, elegant or expensive can ever match. I have quite a few other jackets which I wear more often, but I'll never let go of this one. There's about 7 pots of vegetables mostly hidden in this photo. The food garden.

One more of these oriental style jackets tomorrow. I finally had an excuse to wear every one of these. I'm also grateful of the snaps inside the jacket...the clasps on the outside are IMPOSSIBLE with nails unless you use a twist tie as a hook or something.
