My mom painted this little bud vase for me when I was a kid, and I've carried it with me to each home I've had since then. It's a little banged up, but it's still special to me. The fake flowers are a recent addition.

This little beauty suddenly appeared out of nowhere in a bed of liriope grass that borders a walkway in our garden. It's very small, and I've not seen it before. Marta thinks it may be some kind of clover, but I'll be curious to know if any of you recognize it.

To my amazement, I received this unexpected package. I had written to Cloud Star just to let them know how much I enjoy their treats and appreciate the care they put into their products.
Low and behold, I received an unexpected gift and a sweet note from Cloud Star . Very rare indeed. I'm totally impressed!
Inside the package were two packs of delicious Buddy Biscuit treats. It's really wonderful to find a dog friendly caring business who uses healthy natural ingredients in their products.

As cute as they are, kitten season is a very sad and busy time at shelters. They often come in sick and malnourished; and they need constant care and medicine.
Please spay and neuter your pets, and adopt from your local shelter.
As photographers sometimes the fruits of our labor are not monetary. I'm still working on this images editing but this is from a new set of stock photography I'm building. And, the joy is enjoying the warm chocolate delights of this special samtheman's mocha heaven.

So, I've settled on "Myrrh" for a name - coz she's a Christmas gift, and it rhymes with purr (which she certainly does a lot of), and a whole pile of other symbolism which I won't bore you with :-)

Well, I should mention that you turn him on by using a (tiny) piece of electrical tape to connect the loose wire to the top of the battery.

This tiny little fire hydrant was on the verge of a neighbour's front yard, looking like it was waiting to cross the road, but needed someone to hold its hand
This is a little lion that I hand-embroidered on one of Olivia's shirts. She loves lions. I swear if she could, she would be one.
She picked out which shirt she wanted me to embroider it on. It's very soft and more of a knit-type shirt with tiny holes in a pattern. Needless to say, it was a bit more challenging to work on than, say, cotton.
She's so happy to have a little lion on her shirt now.'
