This is the tiniest flower I've ever seen, about 1/8" total across. I found it in a field out on a ranch near here. I have no idea what it is.

Captured this little guy with my 90mm macro lens. It is on a fire hydrant bolt. I was pleased that it turned out as well as it did, since it was hand held, and one of my first shots with that lens, which is heavier that I am used to. This was in Whitewater, Wisconsin.

A teeny tiny ripe tomato from the greenhouse. It’s not even as big as the dime it’s sitting on......BUT.....I grew it and it was yummy!

Saw a few of these very small, teeny tiny frogs along several trails at Dauset Trails. They are about the size of a small acorn and wouldn't have spotted them at all if they hadn't hopped out of the way when we were walking past.

Not only are they super small they are also super fast. We see them quite often, and I've tried over and over to get a good shot of them but when I get down on one knee and try to get closer they disappear into the leaves and brush along the sides of the trails.

Almost missed at Dauset Trails Nature Center

My neighbors just got a new kitten. When I walk by in the late afternoon, he's there in the window, staring at me. He never blinks. He's tiny, but patient.

Best viewed large.

Happy Bench Monday! So I went a little crazy with the pink on this one, but it's her favorite color. LOL.

I can't believe how small this clover is that I found...it's so small, it can pass through the eye of the embroidery needle! One of the smallest 4 leaf clovers I've ever found!

My son really wanted me to take of picture of the itty bitty flower he found. So here it is. I do as I'm told.

We finally got rain....at least for about 20 minutes. Thanks to Gabi Butcher for the awesome rain texture.

This is completely inspired by the fabulous Kelly here on Flickr. I want to respect her privacy, so I am not linking directly to the photo that inspired this, but her stream is full of art. Thanks, girly for the inspiration! You rock!

It's a day after my 1st flickr anniversary. :)

Tiny fingers & tiny toes

Will all change as baby grows

So enjoy the time that they're small

For in no time they will get tall

And memories of days long gone

Seem like nothing more than mist at dawn

Something that you can almost feel

But then it's gone like it wasn't real

Time slips by and their bodies grow

But no matter what you will always know

That one day before they could even stand

Their tiny foot fit in your hand

Hello everyone!! I would like to welcome my new baby nephew to the world!! This is Noah Ryan's tiny little foot and I wrote this poem for him. He was just born this past weekend and I am a very proud new aunt!! I hope you all enjoy the image and words. Take care my friends!! I'll be catching up with you all over the next few days!!

We're all digging out of the snow today in the midwest so this is a friendly reminder that summer is on it's way.

The G-3 Infiltrator is a small, one-man fighter used by the forces of Blacktron.

Yay, NCS! Not too happy with the overall look of the fighter, but I think it turned out okay.

Discovered this image while searching for a few additional images for my new website. It was a little blurry (200mm hand held) but I liked it. I would have liked to have had a little more of this young man's face in the frame. But (and you may not believe this) I don't remember taking this image. I shoot alot at weddings (3,000+ images) so it's easy to foget a few shots.

Do you find yourself running across images that you don't remember taking?

i'm in mini-sizing mood these days... if only i could work to mini-size my behind :P
