So would the music to accompany this be "Rock Lobster" but more with the tempo of "Theme to Rocky"??

This was my first walk down this part of Queen West since Tom's passing last Wednesday. Danged streetcar shelter in the median kept me from moving back more and getting it all in.

Perfect placement in front of the Horseshoe Tavern - wonderful tribute for a Canadian icon.

I have a fun but soggy day out with the photo walk crew at Belfountain Conservation Area. It rained for most of the day but the company was lovely and the sun actually did come out while we were having dinner so some of us went for a post-dinner walk.

Thanks for a great day folks!

I was a bad grrl and didn't get a 365 photo yesterday but hopefully this will more than make up for it.

I am soooo very lucky to have a fabulous circle of friends that support me and make my life oh so wonderful. Thank you very much to you all! oxo

What all the fashionable trees are wearing this season.

Yes, I know I'm behind on the Little Things - Monday was a straight home and down to work sewing day. I'll try to catch up today!

I'm looking forward to meeting Target as much as I was looking forward to meeting Walmart in Toronto back in the day. Meh. :p

However, I really am looking forward to meeting Spring again and being reunited with my bicycles!

I came across these great works of art on my wander down from Yonge and Eglinton this afternoon.

Love how they used students' art to display and represent the school. Wonderful project!

Stopped here for some feta to make couscous with red and yellow pepper, zucchini and asparagus for dinner tonight. This little cutie made me smile. :)

Oh the humanity!

Luckily, I didn't have this problem yesterday when I went to Broadview Espresso with my friend Geoff.

Vicki suggested that we hit up Allan Gardens to take in some pictureful flowers and greenery today. So some of the TOPW crew got together to do just that. Such a nice little way to brighten up the day. Thanks Vicki!

My ball league is waiting for the playoff schedule for the season to come out so we met up with another team for a friendly practice game. Good fun and lots of laughs!

Actually this is the shot I meant to post yesterday but time got away from me. Surprising how easily that happens - especially at this time of the year.

I received a bunch of lovely cards and gifts from friends - here's a little collection. Thank you for thinking of me. :)

Happy holidays everyone!

Sunset over the Welsh moors 😍

From the bus through the mucky wet window - I like the abstractness of this shot.

Nice to start the day with lovely warm light even if it's -16C with the windchill. Brrrr!

Back in my favourite cafe loo ... more words of wisdom from Moonbean. Good coffee, good company and nice little phrases to share.

Always nice to see you all here and your comments. Thank you!

After a couple wet and grey days, it's nice to feel the warm sun on my skin.

This is definitely not the best selfie I've taken. I had to rush down to the Artful Dodger after a hectic day with overtime and I'm still not 100% better. I don't like the look on my face but I unfortunately had to rush the shot since the doors were opening and people were starting to show up.

But I do like the scene from "Some Like it Hot" projected on the wall and the paintings on the walls from my fellow artists.

And the show was awesome! A fabulous turn out of people, fun performances and great music.

Thank you to everyone that came out to support me and see the show! ox

So my faaaabulous grrl Shelna invited me over for lunch and knitting when she found out I had a snow day.

Nothing like tuna melts, tea, good company and craftiness to pass away a blustery day.

Thanks darlin'! ox

A bit sad to see somewhere like this shut down - I hadn't gone here but obviously it had a bit of history on College Street. But the thank you sign is very lovely to see.

To my Flickr friends, be like a cloud - don't let anything or anyone hold you back or hold you down.

It's a delicate balance at times too - don't take it for granted.

Much love to you my friends!

In the US were these two titles two different singles and both in the US charts.

Cute little find on the way home tonight. I thought about rescuing her but I didn't have an extra bag to put her in and I sure wasn't putting her in with the groceries. Sorry dolly!

Hopefully someone else rescues her.

To warm up after a chilly and rainy walk home after work. Mmmm!

Yup .... way behind on my Little Things. It's been a hectic and roller coastery week but feeling better after hanging out with friends like Andrew here.

More to come to catch up!

Have a great weekend friends!

Found in the oasis of the Froth Cafe in Penetanguishene - unfortunately no George to been seen. Guess we beat him there. Thanks to Sean for finding this lovely little place when we needed a spot to sit and cool off from the heat and get a caffeine fix.

Again, thank you to all my friends for a great weekend! Hugs!

So, I did my trial ride up to York University and back again. Thanks to my co-navigator, I only got a bit lost along the way - need a better map and to learn that area of town that I'll be doing my return route through better. It was an awesome day for riding.

It took about one hour and fifteen minutes up - remember we jumped the subway for part of the route - and about two hours down since we were taking our time and trying not to get lost too much.

This was my first real ride of the season .... about 30km! I think I'll be sore tomorrow. Muscle report in the morning ..... if I can manage to get out of bed. ;p

Hope everyone had a lovely day!

And it stayed that way all day - no snow globe - whoo hoooo! And on top of it, it's Friday!!

Hopefully it will be like this for tomorrow morning at oh-my-gawd-o'clock when I go out with a friend to do a sunrise shoot.

Have a great weekend everyone!

Holy crap - only six shots to go! (I started this project in a leap year)

I'm not feeling over sunny today to be honest. It's been a hectic week at work and though I had a great time last night at the art show last night, I'm exhausted and very frustrated that this cold doesn't want to go the heck away and leave me alone. Sigh.

But at least this made me smile and feel a wee bit better when I saw it. Enjoy your weekend my friends!

I didn't notice this until late last night and didn't have a chance to take a photo until this morning.

Derek attempting to kidnap my duckie. Luckily, he didn't succeed. But bad Derek, bad! lol! ;p

First snow fall and it's mighty chilly outside. I'm happy to be inside, warm and cozy with a nice cuppa cocoa!

Stay safe and warm folks!
