Well it's been one of those weeks at work where I've felt a little stressed, pressed and needing another 24 hours in each day. I stumbled on this photo from Trentham Gardens last night, reminding me of happy, relaxing times with family a couple of months ago. I reckon I could learn a bit from these dandelions...*bursts into songs from Frozen*!! Looking forward to time off over Easter and hopefully catching up with comments here too :)

It Wasn’t Us“ hat die Künstlerin die Historische Halle des Hamburger Bahnhof – Museum für Gegenwart – Berlin sowie den Außenbereich hinter dem Gebäude in ein expansives Bild verwandelt, das die bestehende Ordnung des musealen Raums radikal destabilisiert. A painting by Katharina Grosse can appear anywhere. Her large-scale works are multi-dimensional pictorial worlds in which splendid color sweeps across walls, ceilings, objects, and even entire buildings and landscapes. For the exhibition It Wasn’t Us the artist has transformed the Historic Hall of Hamburger Bahnhof – Museum für Gegenwart – Berlin as well as the outdoor space behind the building, into an expansive painting which radically destabilises the existing order of the museum architecture.

A Painted Stork (Mycteria leucocephala) was framed from up close flying by to a new destiny while other members of the stork family were busy in search of fishes in the backdrop. The bokeh here is dreamy- butter smooth and the position of the stork is perfect for a handsome flight portrait. Pics was taken from Bharatpur, Rajasthan, India.

This is a photo of my mother taken around 1946 so she would have been about 18 yrs old but I am guessing on the year and age. The story of my mother is so dangerously complicated which is the least complicated way to describe her.
