A mass of various types of seagulls sleep on the safety of the frozen Irondequoit Bay. Can you guess which way the wind blows?

After decades of not getting out fishing, Gary finally "dipped a line" this past weekend. Went to three different spots without any luck for him but he enjoyed the relaxation just the same. I am sharing some photos of what I enjoyed at one of the spots he tried.....

This is my favorite shot of the series.

I took the kids up to the bay just to drive around and break up the day. Sometimes you just gotta get out of the house.

(Wasn't there once a Swansdown Cake Flour?)

This swan must have been awfully hungry as she would stay with her head under water for long as 30 seconds at a time. She she came up for air it was only for 2 or 3 seconds, then down again.

There is a face a little like and eagle facing left.

I stopped at Irondequoit Bay yesterday looking to photograph wildlife. This species was there moving around rapidly on the frozen ice in the bay. Those studded tires really bit the ice and gave these guys a great ride.

These weren't youth fooling around on the ice. Several of them had gray hair.....
