Giardino dell'Iris

A pretty iris growing near the pond(see previous photo). There was no label so not sure the species. Looks similar to Iris virginica.

Mid afternoon 3 0'clock.

 

I wanted to run a series of photo's using different lights through out the day, I choose Iris as my subject matter, all photo's taking indoors using natural window light.

This is the first iris this year from my garden.

This Iris caught my eye with the fog due still on the flower just after the sun came out. Olympus E-5
