The purple iris shot with just the 18-55mm.

A great historic iris, 1931, it seems as if it is glazed like stoneware.

This dwarf iris, only about 4 inches tall, is one of my favorite local wildflowers and is very variable. This is a deformed flower with some petals missing.

Despite freezing temperatures and cold winds, these wonderful little Iris reticulata were blooming in a garden alongside the sidewalk.

A lovely blue Iris growing in the Junior Gardens in St. Patrick's College, Maynooth, Ireland.

This one looks like an angel with purple wings and halo.

These miniature iris bloomed this morning a bit late due to the late Spring.

Captured in Syl's garden with a Minolta f2.8 100mm macro on a Sony A7 on a Acratech Ultimate ball head on a Uni-Loc major tripod. SOOC

A fine repeat-blooming intermediate iris. Introduced in 1978.
