A yellow and purple bearded iris, which I have been cultivating from a small shot for the past couple of years.

my friends have this gorgeous plant.

This is the first iris I ever purchased - and that was easily 30 years ago. So this is one very durable variety!

The Iris pallida, which belongs to the group of tall bearded, gives rise to numerous and wonderful hybrid varieties.

Just bloomed today!

 

This is one of many that we dug up from an iris garden that apparently wasn't labelled correctly, so we are left with a description of its color rather than a name.
