Montreux - a small clump of irises at the foot of a palm tree. I think it is Iris unguicularis - Algerian winter iris.
Dad's iris pops up again, I'm so stoked he gave me these and that they've survived to bloom year after year.
We've had quite warm weather but after a few people have wondered about iris blooming so late. I discovered that these are a re-blooming variety --once in spring and another in fall.. In milder areas they can get even a third season. Deer resistant as well!
