In Djen's terms I "pilfered" some of these today to plant at my house. Man, did my car ever smell good........

 

White backgrounds bite

This was taken at the Alaska Native Heritage Center in Anchorage, Alaska. These grow all over the place. At my daughters home these grow wild.

Shot at f/8 at 1/50 sec @ ISO = 800 (not ideal but it was very breezy outside).

Mrs C-13 bought some flowers today. I was looking for something to photograph. Sorted :-)

Some pristine Iris flowers seen at the weekend on a sunny summer afternoon.

It's still just the start of the iris season here. Here are some freshly washed by the rain.

Propogated from bulbs taken from my Mother's yard years ago.

Only Iris left in that patch. Blooms one day.

These photos are older than the ones with lilies and roses. Forgot to put them up before. Most of the irises are gone already.
