My iris again, there are more out now as you can see. Taken the other afternoon when the sun came out after it had been raining most of the day.

Sadly the farm this year is closed due to the Covid beast, so this was shot from the road looking in ... will miss wandering here this year.

This is a Watercolor & Ink Painting from a photo of one of my Iris in my garden this past Spring/Summer.
It has been awhile since I painted one...and I thought now was the time...:)
All greens are mixed from yellows and blues.
The pens I used are Pigma Micron size 005 and a Zebra F-301 ballpoint..and for the white touches I used a Pentel Sunburst med. Gel.

I bought a dozen bulblets from a pound shop about 3 months ago. I'd forgotton about them but this appeared in my garden today. Not bad for about 8 pence!
