This machine has been dead for awhile. Our doctors tried their best to revive it, but its life as an iPod could not be saved (nor was it worth the cost to fix).

The body will live on as a useful fashion accessory (essentially a normal iPod).

Well my new toy - sounds good, but a bit disapointed that you have to use itunes to load it up. Was hoping that you could just drag/drop tunes from within Windows Explorer.

I found this wooden orb at a thrift store, and thought it would make a nice housing for an IPod amplifier. I think it was for spices or something, because it came with a wooden pestle. Circuit is an LM386-N1 based amplifier, with optional battery or wall power.
