Each Saturday-morning, we make our way to music school. It's an activity that takes up a large part of our Saturday. For much of the time, we adopt a principled, very stoic, attitude to our attendance, but there are other times, especially when we're all tired, that the temptation is to stay at home and just relax!
While all four children attend, the younger two finish a couple of hours earlier, leaving the eldest two to attend various other classes. What we do with these two hours is always a dilemma, but partly guided by what the weather is like outside. If it's dry, the three of us make our way to the local park, or to the shops nearby. Otherwise, especially in these winter-months, we opt to stay indoors!
Whichever decision made: we always, always purchase a bag of sweets! And when we do stay indoors: we hide in one of the music-rooms! They get to play their iPods; I get to play the piano...

My new 3rd Generation iPod nano in RED. I use my iPhone normally for around the town but this little guy is an important part of my running/training schedule. I named him iPodiRun (my NIKE+ handle).
On sale at Target...
I accidentally washed my old iPod shuffle that I bought back in 2006. It was starting to act funny, so maybe it was indeed time for a new one. The sound is much better on my new pink one!

What is this? WOW! It's a giant Apple iPod ad here in Calgary, Canada! It's the size of an entire block! You don't normally see ads like this here.. I see them in movies in big cities like New York or Toronto or something!

That is me on the train from Paris Fall 2003, returning from the Apple Expo. What you see here is my first iPod, a second generation 10 Gig. The book is William Gibsons "Pattern Recognition". I sold that Pod to my friend Hans who is with Apple in Cupertino now, so it returned home.
all I want for Christmas........is an iPod.
