I decided to make an ipod touch case for my zig zag quilt project. I first made the fabric using black fabric and zig zag stitches. Then, I cut out fabric and batting, 4.5 inches by 13 inches, made it into a quilt, then added Velcro, sewed the bottom into a pocket, the top into a flap, and a case was born! Made in Pendleton, Oregon. Thanks Kim, for such a fun time!!

What's wrong with this picture? =)

The operative system I managed to get working is called Rockbox... It was kinda tricky to get it in there, and when I finally got it I didn't like it at all, so I took a picture of the sh*t and restored it back to the apple original... Just got to have something to remember it by.. =)

I'm so proud of my little iPod sock 'cause there's no way I was shelling out $30 for Apple's set. Yeah, so mine doesn't have the cool logo, but oh well.

Pattern: Loosely based on iPod Sock Pattern. I added the contrasting band to make mine look more like Apple's.

Yarn: Knit Picks Shine in Sky and River (*so* soft!)

Needles: Size 2 (I might have used size 3. Darnit, should have written it down, hm?)

iPod 4th Generation Battery Replace

I am currently addicted to the new Gnarls Barkley CD, specifically the song "Run (I'm a Natural Disaster). I'm here bringing it up on my ipod so I can immediately listen when I get in my car. Rockstar baby, rockstar in my car.

... y pronto será MUCHO mejor.

This is the iPod I got for Christmas. It makes me happy to have all the music at my fingertips whenever I want it. I like the shape and the size and the whole concept of digital music. I walk to work and with the iPod I don't have to make that difficult decision as to which few CDs shall I tuck in the backpack. All the music is there all the time. I can even change my mind in mid-song. One day as I came into the building someone said they had seen me walking and I was smiling. I replied "Leonard Cohen on the iPod makes me happy" and so became the logical choice for this challenge. Usually if asked, I would say that family and friends and a job well done and my health and food on the table and a roof over my head makes me happy. And they do, but they are also darn hard to draw! So I'm gonna face the dark side and admit that sometimes material things do make me happy. I enjoy this toy every day.

they don't built it anymore, and it's a same, because the sound is wonderful.

A product shot of my ipod shuffle.

I used a SB-50DX and a table lamp, as well as over head lighting. The flash was pointed to the upper left, which holding a piece of white foam core board on a 45degree angle above the bottom piece (which the iPod is lying on). The lamp was placed to the right. Considering it's a desk lamp, it doesn't give off much light or project nearly as much as a flash would, so that light was limited. Basically, in order to capture the shadow I wanted, The white foam core board acted as a reflector and the flash as the main source of light.

Minimum photoshop work. Just corrected the levels and removed scratches and dust.

iPod Nano setting on top of the Time Capsule. This appeals to me on several levels. I like the most modern of devices framed with an analog camera. And I like the simplicity and tones captured in the picture.
