the boy got an ipod touch from his uncle for christmas and he's been asking for a case. and being the DIY kinda kind of guy I am, I made him one. It's just a big piece of 1" think foam for pillows. needless to say, he was none too pleased.

this is an ipod cake for a singer's birthday. It is covered in rolled fondant and gumpaste flowers are on the board. The lettering and photo are done on icing sheets
Taylor gave me her iPod shuffle! Well, kind of. She saw that they're making them in pink now, so now she has to get one and decided to sell me hers a quite a nice discount. I've been wanting something smaller than my iPod Video for listening to music, so I think this will work out very well. So as you can see, she's been very giving lately. :)
And yes, I actually took this photo. It came out looking a lot better than I expected.

This was just something for fun - a broken iPod mini (£10 from eBay) - as with all these the hard drive has broken and the battery's wearing out. I took it apart and replaced the hard drive with an old 2Gb CompactFlash card, plugged it back into iTunes, did a 'Restore' of the system software and it worked!. It's still got a loose connection somewhere which causes it to cut out sometimes but other than that it's fine. You can see in the last picture the memory is shown as 1.8Gb - Apple only ever made 4Gb and 6Gb versions of this. I could, I suppose, splash out and buy a 16Gb card for it...
This is the image I composited over the photograph.
The mousepad texture was made by taking a top-down photograph of my mouse pad. All other textures and shaders were tweaked to get the right look.
Lighting was made to match the room lighting.
Aligning the image in 3D to the camera's persective was by far the hardest part.
A few shots of my brother's iPod. However I was only able to snap a few shots because as soon as I set up shop, our dear cat's Jazz and Callie decided to take a nap where I was shooting.
