I wonder how many people actually purchase out of this machine. People keep looking but no one has bought anything. Everything is standard retail pricing suprisingly.
Everything besides the final cleanup was done in trueSpace3, a old but powerful 3D graphics program I have used for years.
The only textures loaded externaly were Kong the finger prints and the mousepad, all other aspects of the image are using the shaders built into trueSpace.
The model was build from scratch using PDF's from Apple developer site.
The iPod was built to 100% scale of a 5th gen iPod.

Some photos from when I was updating to the latest firmware for my iPod Mini. This is telling me that I need to plug it into the mains to allow the firmware to be flashed.

Considering the fact that I forgot that my screen was broken when I was ordering the replacement part for the jack output (yes, both broken), I just made myself a brand new iPod shuffle (that is, with a touch of poking randomly to see what I hear as the result)!!

The iPod innards ready to be reunited with the case. The CF card doesn't really need shock protection, since it has no moving parts, but I installed the rubber pads from the Microdrive anyway so it wouldn't rattle around inside the case.
Perfect. Found at Kohl's for $10. Also seen at CVS, Walgreens, Bed Bath & Beyond, and probably a bunch of other stores.

This is a replacement for an original shot posted earlier -- just wasn't happy with the post-processing job -- still not sure if I'm happy yet but time will tell.
