Why not black dock?

iPod touch: all of the touch with none of the talk.

A practice desktop studio shot of my wife's iPod touch; thought it a fitting subject since the iPhone 3G has been upstaging the whole product line as of late :P

This is a replacement for an original shot posted earlier -- just wasn't happy with the post-processing job -- still not sure if I'm happy yet but time will tell.

El iPod Nano es una maravilla, Monky no aguantó las ganas y se lo compró, y yo no me aguanté las ganas y se lo pedí para sacar unas fotos y hacer un review.

Finalmente tra le mani il nuovo ipod touch. Un gioiellino.

David Brill posted a link to a cut and fold iPod stand (http://www.dessinemoiunobjet.com/iphone-and-itouch-paper-stand-dock/ ) and asked if anyone could make one out of origami. Here is my attempt.

got them for free ... :) sadlly they are fake

A good way to listen to music.

The Jailbreak messed up my ipod and im out $300. This screen never goes away. Does anyone know how to un-hack this so i can restore it and not have to buy another one?

I find the Ipod Touch a surprisingly good and highly portable photo viewer. The screen is brilliant (literally). You can download photos directly from Flickr, or use dropbox, so you don't even need to go near itunes, which is handy if you do your post processing using a Linux computer like me. Those old flip photo albums of slightly dodgy 5"x3.5" prints are consigned to the history books, thank goodness.

Chatting with Kaizad who is in UK now. That's my reflection in his brand spanking new iPod touch!

Today at work I had to replace the battery in an iPod, fully charge it and then drain the charge.

All day long it has been playing A.D.I.D.A.S. by Korn.

It's a terrible hole - I tried cutting it freehand but unless you have the control of an x-acto knife, it'll be messy. After the second attempt, I figured out a better way, and was able to go back and clean up this one.

Late on Monday night (about 11:05) I was trying to remove some staples using a kitchen knife. You know what's coming next don't you... The knife slipped and I embedded it in my hand! So I rushed to Accident and Emergency at the nearest hospital at which point the rushing stopped! :-) I've had experience of waiting in a hospital before, so before heading off, I grabbed a PCW Magazine and my trusty iPod.

I had the iPod on shuffle and was listening with one earphone in the vain hope that I would hear my name being called with my non-earphoned ear. Just after midnight, the track shown in the picture came on. It is Tony Hancock's the Blood Donor episode from the www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00004YTX0/qid=11393466.... Very appropriate! :-) If you don't know it, the sketch ends with Tony accidently cutting himself with a bread knife and being taken back to the hospital where he gave blood. A doctor remarks, "Knife wound? Teddy boy is he?" Brilliant stuff!

To add to the synchronicity, in this episode Tony's blood type is given as AB Negative - the same as mine!

One of my housemates got an 8GB iPod Nano for her birthday. In order to get my 4300 song, 27GB collection down to the 8GB limit, while keeping everything (I think) she likes, I came up with this fantastically convoluted "smart playlist" in iTunes. The 1625 songs remainng take up 7.8GB. Phew!
