My brand new iPod Touch needed something to protect it. Totally ripped off RoseRed's iSock, but upsized to fit the Touch. The yarn is Colinette Jitterbug in Vincent's Apron.

I opened my desk drawer yesterday to find something hanging from my iPod. It was Kuromi blinged out ear buds! OMG! Apparently this is one of the newest Kuromi releases from Sanrio and my boyfriend found the first store around here to release them! I freakin love them!

On the way to the gate I noticed this vending machine. It sells iPods of all sorts (not just the inexpensive Shuffle), Airport base stations, and various accessories.

El kit Nike+ iPod se ha vuelto muy popular entre los corredores, este dispositivo combina el famoso iPod de Apple con un pequeño podómetro (chip) de Nike. Es básicamente un dispositivo de medición que registra el tiempo, la distancia y la velocidad de una caminata o carrera.

El podómetro es insertado en un zapato especial de Nike (o agregado a otro), el cual se comunica ya sea con el Nike+ Sportband, con un receptor conectado a un iPod Nano (ver foto), o directamente a un iPod Touch de 2da generación o a un iPhone 3GS.

Al sincronizar el iPod o iPhone con la computadora los datos de las corridas como tiempo, kilómetros, velocidad y calorías se registran en Nikeplus.com.

En el sitio Nikeplus.com es posible establecer metas personales, participar en retos contra otros corredores y también consultar programas de entrenamiento.

Una de la funciones más útiles de este sistema es que te permite saber tu tiempo, distancia y tu paso en tiempo real con solo presionar un botón, una voz o en la pantalla te dejan saber tu ritmo y distancia.

Este dispositivo en poco tiempo se ha vuelto un compañero inseparable de varios corredores durante sus entrenamientos y carreras.

Otras marcas como Adidas (miCoach), Garmin, Polar, o Suunto también tienen kits de medición muy completos para corredores...

This light painting was achieved by doing a long exposure of 5 sec drawing with a LED light.

Then in GIMP, used colorize tool. Adjusted levels.

Then overlay another exposure of the iPod screen.

After reassembling everything, and using iTunes to reinitialize the iPod to factory defaults, it's ready to go!
