Another shot of this bird, just before he dropped the egg in order to crack it.

After visiting the falconry, we had a medieval dinner...

Here's another shot of this jester in action.

This is the same fly.

I was going to post pictures of tulips or trees springing into life, but I was given this rose today by a boy whose heart was broken. For the world, today was the first day of spring, but for him today was one of the worst of his life. For every beginning there must be an end.

And then I realized that my relationship with someone was dead. That we weren't really even friends because he couldn't even say it when I asked what we were. I can't call him a friend. When I take a hint I take it pretty hard. But it is killing me.

An old shot, taken directly after this one...

I could let you slip away, but wouldn't that be failing us, letting go so soon?

I could hide somewhere, pretend I didn't care, fill my time with daily things, until I'm numb, but isn't all this feeling why we reach for love at all?

More pictures of Wilbär.

The power of spring: Three weeks before I took this shot, the same scene looked like this.

The snake was lying half buried in the sand ...

Today I went to the zoo again to test my new camera (With some great results).

As can be seen, I was of course not the only one who watched Wilbär swimming. It was difficult to first get an empty spot next to the glass pane and then to get some picture without to many reflections. Although in this shot, I like the outcome - it almost looks like the hand of the spectator is embracing the little polar bear.

More pictures of Wilbär.

I have a friend, with whom I'd like to spend anytime I can find...

And my heart skips a beat every time that we meet. It's been a while and now your smile is almost like a memory, but then you're back and I am fine because you're with me and I'm in love with you...and I can't find the words to make it sound unique...

You're the nicest thing I've ever seen and I wish that we could see if we could be something...

Another shot from my recent visit to the world famous Maulbronn Monastery.

The deer is part of the crest of the state of Baden-Württemberg. This statue is located a the New Palace in Stuttgart

A different angle on this snake.

As it was very hot that day, this polar bear didn't make any attempts to throw his toys at me ...

Another shot from the recent Show Jumping event.

of a visitor of the Irish-Celtic Midsommer night at the church ruins in Walbeck, Germany

Another shot of the old lioness, born in 1985.

It’s hard for me to say what I want from you.

Trying to form the words that somehow might mean I am feeling.

So many colors in this distraction.

On my last trip to downtown, I came by the glassy cube. On the front, they showed in big letters the name of the current exhibition inside. As the theme is "leuchtende bauten" ("illuminated buildings"), I played a bit inPhotoshop to enhance the glow of the building.

My last shot of these tiny micro mushrooms on the side of a tree.

Remember that when the darkness looms every tear you shed is cleansing, taking the pain away from you.

Yet another angle on this sculpture.

... of a Mercedes-Benz 500K special roadster

While playing (i.e. chasing each other), one of the tiger cubs fell into the water. The others obviously tried to pull him out of the water, but he was able to get out on his own (as you can see, he's standing in the water on a small ledge, so he could jump out of the water)

See here for the beginning of the story. Continue here to part the final part 4.
