India Pelican Ale at Pelican Brewery in Pacific City, Oregon, USA.
In my book one of the top 5 best IPAs I've ever tasted (and I've tasted probably a hundred or two).
We were particularly thrilled to find the Pelican Brewery serving this one on what is called "cask conditioned." We consider the term to mean British style: cellar temperature and hand pumped from the tap without added CO2.
Thank you to the brewers at Pelican for making their IPA available on cask. We LOVE IT!
Breakaway IPA is made with Vienna and Munich malts to give this beer its malty flavor blended with a generous amount of Amarillo and Simcoe hops, which give this beer its signature citrusy character. The starting gravity is about 15 degrees plato (S.G. 1068), which means that the alcohol by volume is about 7%.
The campaign was "Evita Peron" This is her arriving to a throng of fans. She is tired from her hectic life but still looks elegant as she faces another fanfare.

This is a definitive Northwest IPA. It has the perfect balance of hops to malt... and the hops are there from the first whiff, throughout the taste and on to a lovely, lingering finish
Farmageddon - IPA 5.5% ABV. Yet another new Irish IPA, this one brewed in Co. Down Northern Ireland. Very tasty, but there are better ones out there. 7/10

The pour was a clear golden amber with an average (1-2 finger) white frothy head that reduced to a large puddle and small collar with good streaky lacing.
The aroma was kind of mild with a light grain and bread malts, grassy hops and an earthy yeast along with a note of caramel and a slight rye spiciness.
The taste was lightly malty with a hint of a caramel sweetness in the beginning, maturing slightly with a mild hoppiness and a light rye presence right at the end. The flavor was average in duration with a light spicy bitterness lingering for only a short while.
Mouthfeel was light in body with a watery and mildly dry texture and a lively carbonation.
Overall this brew had very little rye flavor and just a light bitterness which pretty much made it an OK brew, but really nothing special...

Den bärnstensfärgade drycken har en söt, fruktig doft av humle, sirap, örter & lite rök.
Hop Yard har ett beige skum som lämnar rester på glaset då det sjunker ned till nån millimetertjockt täcke.
Maltig smak av torkad frukt, lime, bröd & peppar. En lång efterbeska som stannar bak på tungan.
Over the top hoppy.
At 9.2% alcohol, the stuff will kick your ass.
It's OK, but not anywhere near as good as the Dogfish Head 90 Minute or the Stone Ruination IPA.
The adlet represents well the Tribal IPA. Legendary monster of Inuit mythology, it is derived from a cross between a woman and a black dog. The short adlet very quickly, is watered with blood and willingly engages in violent battles with humans. As our IPA, powerful, balanced, but sneaky, always be careful.
I had a pint of this excellent ale in the West Gate Inn Wetherspoons, Canterbury.
Not as strong as other IPAs i have drunk which made it easier to drink with food.
