Pike Brewery's first release of a double IPA. Made for Seattle Beer Week in 2 weeks! It's a very smooth and drinkable double IPA. Nice taste and balance. Not overly bitter.

Our first Hopster is a North American IPA made with with Mosaic, Idaho 7, Azacca and our homegrown Cascade hops. Aromas of dank hops will unironically overtake your senses. Pouring a golden hue with a tight white foam, it looks even fresher than your newest tattoo. Juicy flavours of tropical citrus, mango and pine are inviting and exciting, just like listening to your favourite vinyl. And don’t worry, it’s vegan.
Ah, the poor man's IPA. This one can be found at my local convenience store, not the source of many quality brews. This makes for a nice session IPA with it being lower in alchol comparitively and also not too bitter.
A good IPA for noobs or if you are desperate from something a bit tastier than what the store might have.
Nothing special, but nothing here to hurt your feelings either.
Such a horrible picture of an amazing beer...
Nonetheless, it's the only evidence I have and it's such a limited run beer that I'll probably never have it again.

It's also the the thirty-first beer in my 2010 project, 52 Beervana

So I didn't get out to shoot last Sunday, so wanted to mess around with some Off Camera Flash. Poored myself a tall frosty glass to relax before shooting, and as it was setting on the granite counter, I thought it would be a good subject. The Glass and bottle didn't reflect in the in the surface I had planned, most of the texture from the back wall was caught in the reflection. Will change the angle of the light next time to try and get different reflections on the counter top.
Note: While the beer looked good, it wasn't a very good craft beer maybe a 2 1/2 outta 5. It was my first time trying this IPA and the last.
This IPA from Southern Tier Brewing (NY) was the only drinkable ale I was able to discover in the many LCBO stores I visited in Ontario.
Beer selection in Ontario is in sad state of affairs. There were no barley wines to be had whatsoever. No porters either. How can this be??

Final pint of my Palilalia IPA homebrew. This turned into something completely different after aging for eight months. Almost tasted like a Scottish Ale. Wish I had saved some more.

A yummy IPA with hints of citrus and a stong hoppy taste.
Enjoying it at McMenamins Imbrie Hall on Cornelius Pass Road.
A nice, strong IPA.
What's funny is how they advertise the "fresh and local," but IPA was invented so that it didn't have to be fresh or local.
Whatever.
It's good.

Stone - Ruination IPA 8.2% ABV. They've upped the ABV on this to 8.2%. Its a hop assault of the best kind. If your a hop head then this is close to perfection, 100+ IBU. 9/10.

Greene King IPA - horrible, average, thin, often flat and one dimensional rubbish yet the fastest selling cask ale in the UK.

A highlight, beer-wise, of our trip: an Espresso Cloud IPA at the Macy's Starbucks. It was basically a glass of Brooklyn East IPA, and then you pour cold nitro espresso for a very neat visual effect, and a marvelous taste!
The side label on the bottle of Moor JJJ IPA, that I bought in London last November, informs us it is best before 31 May 2012 - so still a year to go when I had it in mid April 2011.
This is the first beer I tasted from my very cool assorted craft IPA 6-pack that my wonderful wife gave me.
Hop Ottin' IPA
Anderson Valley Brewing Co.
Boonville, CA
I give it a 4/5
Carmel amber color, darker than most IPA's. Mild head with moderate lacing and good retention. Heavy malt and citrus up front, not much going on in between but finished with a sharp bitterness. Pretty common for the turbo IPA's coming from the west coast these days.
Def would have another but at $10 a sixer (thanks babe) probably not going to happen.

BrewDog Punk IPA is a cracking IPA from a brewery making a name for itself for uncompromising beers. With transatlantic influences, read our Punk IPA review at our beer review site to find out just why this beer is so good
Floral aroma, bitter, spicy, fruit, caramel. Hops followed by malt built up in layers - a post-modern IPA.
