Brewdog "IPA Is Dead - Challenger" with Sun Ra LP

Odell - IPA 7%. One of my all time favourite IPAs. The hop flavours are to die for, this is American IPA at its best. 8/10

American Double / Imperial IPA | 7.70% ABV

Capital Square 22 oz. Bomber Series. 9.2% abv, 90 IBU

"Join us on our maiden IPA voyage. Six Unique Hops give this beer an assertive bitterness and upfront hop aroma that are balanced by a subtle but noticeable malt sweetness. Put on a life vest... you are about to be CAPSIZED."

Hop heads rejoice... even if only temporarily. Here is a beer that is so rich in hops flavor you may think they forgot to put in the malt. This is my very first brew from Great Divide and I'm not going to let it disuade me from trying others. In all fairness the hop presence is powerful - this brew is leggy - the rich cloudy amber color and amazing citrus nose do make for a 'memorable' experince. But be warned, unlke DFH 120 Miniute IPA that SWIMS in hop flavor but does not skim on the malt - or the incomparable Stone "Runination" that is the empitome Extreem IPAs - Hercules fails carries his own weight.

From their website:

"This smooth, citrus IPA is delicately brewed with hops that lend it a tangerine finish and easy drinkability. Sure to be Arizona's favorite new local IPA!"

True to its IPA roots Dogzilla has a massive hop presence that is Piney and Citrusy. A malty backbone, along with the dark malt gives it a bit of a roasty finish. Brewed with Simcoe and Cascade Hops, Pale Malt, Munich, and Black Barley.

My Birthday 2018: Punk IPA

Janky IPA is aromatic, well balanced and medium bodied with floral and citrus notes — very à la Justin da Silva. It clocks in at a sensible 6%.

If you love IPAs you must try this. It's basically their 90 min IPA, unfiltered. May be the best IPA I've had.

Mikkeller Tomahawk IPA, from their single hop series, one of a number of breweries running with this concept, their occasional collaborators Brewdog being another.

I did look for tomahawk on Wikipeadia to learn that its a trade name for Columbus, a well known American hop.

Really good hazy orange colouring , with a massive head that reduces to frothy white covering.

An amazing hoppy aroma of grapefruit, pine, dilute orange juice.

Its oily, has pine and citrus, obviously the bitterness is foremost, The flavours dont quite live up to the aroma though.

The bitterness lingers at the upper back palate, its quite intense but not harshly so.

Fresh, spiky, very enjoyable.

330mls, 6.9% abv.

The back side of the 100 Gram IPA bottle. It has Best Before date 7 March 2009 but I'm sure it will continue to improve for much longer than that.
