Post modern classic pale ale. Aus Schottland.
Krasses Ding. Sehr starke Bitternote, die schon fast ins Zitronensaure überschlägt. Der Duft nach Pfirsichen oder Aprikosen täuscht darüber hinweg, wie stark es auch nach Hopfen schmeckt. Man muss das Punk IPA in kleinen Schlucken genießen, mir ist aber schon fast auf den Magen geschlagen. Irgendwie habe ich es nicht so gut vertragen, aber es ist das interessanteste Bier, das ich seit langem probiert habe.

Label indicates that this is by the Goose Island Beer Company from Illinois USA Label talks about how our India Pale Ale recalls a time when ales shipped from England to India were highly hopped to preserve their distinct taste during the long journey. The result is a hop lover’s dream with a fruity aroma, set off by a dry malt middle, and long hop finish. So this beer is made in an English style in the USA and I found it imported to England.
The label is green and white with hops and IPA very prominent.

Photo taken shortly after pouring and as you can see a fairly good white head clear and golden beer.

Taste
Very drinkable smooth dry bitter. Lovely hoppy flavour. Very little aroma. I guess this is a love or hate type of beer. Personally I would be happy to drink lots of this!
Long after taste of hops, bitter and some tingle to the palette.

La recuerdan huyendole a la vida por las escaleras de espiral hasta encontrar una puerta sin regreso.

Stone Brewing Company is one of the most well known craft breweries in the world and is located in Escondido, North County San Diego. The flagship IPA is a strong hoppy brew at 6.9% alcohol by volume. The pour is semi hazy golden orange body with a two finger soapy white head. A huge hop drifts off the beer from a distance. At inspection the nose contains large amounts of grapefruit and citrus as well as a light toasty malt. The beautiful grassy citrus hops are mouthwatering in the nose alone. The middle of the taste is sweet with a light caramel maltiness and sweet hops. Upon swallowing, a moderately bitter grapefruit hop finish ensues with a mild alcohol finish. A lovely beer overall, the only hindrance being the high alcohol content makes this a non-session beer. None-the-less, I wish Stone Brewing had Canadian distribution to satiate my hop addiction. CHEERS!

A bottle of Ægir India Pale Ale from micro brewery Ægir Bryggeri in Flåm, Norway, at Olympen.
This 6,5% abv IPA has a very rich hop aroma, obviously inspired by American IPAs, with a full body that strikes a good balance between bitter hops and the sweet malt. It's a very well balanced and dangerously drinkable IPA!

Tyranea brewing Co. Lae Mills, WI. Good IPA, around $8 a six pack. 5.75% Hop foward but balanced, some folk love the wisconsin ipa's.. central waters has a great one called "glacial trail" also.
Would reccomend.
