Inverted image of green leaves overexposed white sky. Hue/sat adjusted to get these colors. The tone effect is due to back light & shadows of leaves.

Inverted photo of smoke off burning incense. I LOVE the way this looked once inverted ... makes me think of a dancer on stage, music flowing all around.
My first attempt at photographing smoke and man its not easy ... manages to get some decent shots after taking about 200+ pictures. These three are some of the best ..

This abstract scene composition illustrates a play of light and radial assymetry. The actual condition being photographed is a recessed incandescent light fixture designed by architect, Carlo Scarpa.

Had some fun with lights in a dark room with long exposure; make it inverted in Photoshop and this is the result.
Credit goes to my friend Brad for going apeshit with the lights.

NVERTED MAKEUP - Inspired by the amazing @nikkietutorials
This is one of the most fun, confusing and, forgive me for saying, mind-fucking makeup I've ever done! I spent the whole time talking to myself like an idiot so I wouldn't mess it up ... it was like my brain couldn't comprehend that the highlights had to be dark and the shadows had to be light! A really interesting experience!!!

This is an inverted image (i.e. negative) of the full moon where I've returned the background sky to black to provide more apparent contrast in the final image.
Note how this negative image highlights the bright ray systems of the full moon.
The original full-color photo that this image was based upon was taken with an Astro-Tech 72mm aperture telescope that was mounted to a Nikon D5100 DSLR.

A small nose would be cute, even a flat nose would pass, but one like this is just to mutch.
Breed back the nose on persians, please.
And to eva101 - Yes, persians are like most cats in their behavior, I would go to say that a cat is a cat is a cat, even more so than a rose.
A late night shot while driving through downtown Glendora. Since the original shot wasn't the strongest composition (and I needed a photo-a-day), I ran it through the fun, yet tacky Photoshop wringer.
In Photoshop, I merged 2 photos with different exposures. Next, I added a few filters... paint daubs, plastic wrap, and dry brush. Finally, I ran it through AlienSkin's Antimatter. It inverts colors and adds some character. That's why the bright streetlights show up as super dark circles.
It's been a long time since I've played in Photoshop. Maybe next time, I'll just take the time to capture a stronger image initially.
