I inverted this photo of my neighbors roof, sunset, and sun flare . I removed the sun from the scene and left the flare. The flare is real, just post-processed to the hilt as well as the rest of the photo. I was in the mood to experiment. HSS!

Another from the fantastic Seaton Delaval Hall in Northumberland where they've suspended a giant ball form the ceiling - lends itself to some nice photographic opportunities (as well as some funny looks).
This chickadee came at the tree from below, perching in this seemingly awkward position. Didn't seem to bother it, though! At the Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge.

A surreal sunset at Portencross from a couple of months ago.
I was just getting ready to leave this spot when just for a few moments the sky lit up with some of the craziest light rays I've ever seen.
For me, this composition wasn't the best but I had to post it just for the sky alone.
False potato beetle... didn't know what this bug was but looked up on Google and it said it was the false potato beetle. Maybe someday I'll find the true one :-)
