So....I was messing around with this piece I did a while ago

on MS Paint because I wanted to make an avatar. I decided to see what it looked like inverted...and it was as though I created a completely new piece. I almost like it as much as my original =0

Had some fun with lights in a dark room with long exposure; make it inverted in Photoshop and this is the result.
Credit goes to my friend Brad for going apeshit with the lights.

these 3 images are for the !masterclass! pool. Funny thing is, I've been trying to get a decent version of this thistle going for a while but have got a bit feeble about using blatant photoshop trickery. But this works for me. It actually does justice to the amazing shapes in the leaf that the 'real' version can't.
This is an inverted image (i.e. negative) of the full moon where I've returned the background sky to black to provide more apparent contrast in the final image.
Note how this negative image highlights the bright ray systems of the full moon.
The original full-color photo that this image was based upon was taken with an Astro-Tech 72mm aperture telescope that was mounted to a Nikon D5100 DSLR.

A late night shot while driving through downtown Glendora. Since the original shot wasn't the strongest composition (and I needed a photo-a-day), I ran it through the fun, yet tacky Photoshop wringer.
In Photoshop, I merged 2 photos with different exposures. Next, I added a few filters... paint daubs, plastic wrap, and dry brush. Finally, I ran it through AlienSkin's Antimatter. It inverts colors and adds some character. That's why the bright streetlights show up as super dark circles.
It's been a long time since I've played in Photoshop. Maybe next time, I'll just take the time to capture a stronger image initially.
