Inverting to allow blood flow during the NYS Fire Academy Rescue Tech - I Class for Rescue Tech Cert. Myself as the attendant and my partner as the medic performing a two attendant, two line basket scoop rescue of an injured worker.
Another pinhole experiment.
Inverted the shot after about 30sec so it has a ghost image at the top. Didn`t work that well, needed more exposure for the second image to take. Will try again as think the result will be cool.
The heart of the Ray-MaxTM System, this is a state-of-the art 150 kW transformerless inverter approved for operation with DC string voltages up to 1000 V DC. Using advanced heat transfer techniques (no liquids), in a low profile cabinet (27” high), this inverter has total flexibility as to it’s placement in an array, on a roof, or in an equipment room. The inverter operates at full power up to 40 C, and the components are sealed against atmospheric contamination and moisture ingress when used outdoors. The inverter is certified to the UL 1741 / IEEE 1547 standard for both the US and Canada. Housed in a heavy gage steel cabinet, with a marine grade gloss white powder finish, this inverter stay’s cool in the hot sun.
The inverter is fully compliant with the UL 1741 / IEEE 1547 safety requirements, and when used in a stand – alone application (no master controller), will manage it’s MPPT and grid interconnect safety functions. Self protected against all forms of overheating, overcurrent, etc., this is a highly reliable design, with all active components mounted on a chassis that can be swapped out in 30 minutes if service is required over its lifetime.
When used in a Ray-MaxTM system, the inverter accepts commands from the master controller which controls when it is active (on-line) and whether it is the “master” for that day, or one of the slaves. In Master mode, the inverter manages the MPPT function for the entire array, communicating to the controller when it needs additional capacity from the other inverters to harvest the available energy.
The Ray-MaxTM inverter has a peak efficiency of 98 % (CEC listed as 95.5 % with a matching transformer) and includes an extended 20-year warranty.

The general function of an inverter is to take current from battery and convert current (AC) to run any common load. In this case, Solar panels are made to convert direct current from a photovoltaic array into alternating current .For more information visit www.ecosmart-solar.com/solarinverters.html

This is the same stencil, but inverted, and cut out of black cardboard. Anita took this picture with the stencil in front of popeye on tv. Made with processing and a laser cutter!
For WAH Negative Space, but specifically called out as a not-negative space type picture by the target group. So it's an invert.
After the strobist meetup I wanted to try something with this garlic press. This was one of the shots taken while Darrell and I were setting up the lights--it wasn't what I was going for and was totally blown out, but I thought it would look cool to create an abstract piece with high contrast.
