Not something you see everyday! Actually something one can't do in just any helicopter - unless one wants to learn firsthand another meaning of the word "chopper" (when inverted, the rotor blades bend towards the fuselage and could literally chop it to pieces).
How long has ST been doing this? The front and right sid destination sighs say "Terminal" as usual, but the rear and left say the usual "TRM" but the letters are dark and everything else is lit.
Seen proceeding to its layover point between 540 trips.
This inverted image shows stars streaming from two dwarf satellite galaxies going to NGC 4216 and looping around beneath the bright star to come back in at the very close satellite galaxy PGC 39247. The middle section of the upper arc does not show. There are two other streams/condensations to the right of the main galaxy.

This occurred the day after the ice shelf. I can only think that there was a hole in the ice that water was forced through as the bowl froze. It was incredible to find and has not been repeated since. That's because the bowl is now cracked and no longer holds water. To see other angles, check out the album.

This is a phase contrast image of the filamentous form of Ceratiomyxa fruticulosa a common but unique slime mold on account of how the spores are attached to the columns. While it was very difficult to find spores and the associated stalks in the plane of focus, the spore in the upper 1/3 right position is attached to the stalk shown. RAAF Roulettes - WoI 2017
Had my son and his family visiting today and so a quick walk across the local fields to look for flowers and butterflies. By chance also saw a very distant Red Kite. Tried with my tree images and also my first images of damselflies for this year. Caught a glimpse of a fox in the shadows and so a good day all round.
