The second shot of the (mini)serie 'a change of seasons) All images are made in the nature reserve Loonse en Drunense Duinen. I went out to this place to photograph the first autumn colors and especially the transition to them.

I haven't been one to take intimate shots of water falls usually but iv really started to like it recently. I took about 200 shots trying to capture different interesting shapes in the water before I walked away with this one. Id appreciate any feedback thanks!
Here's an intimate scene from a well known lookout in Algonquin Park. This scene really spoke to me because of how the branches almost seemed to reach out toward the island. Such a cool spot.
Taken with a Canon 5D IV and a 27-70 f/2.8L ii with a Lee landscape polarizer. Processed in Camera Raw and Photoshop.
Not wild birds this time, but a nice intimate moment between two budgies in a bird aviary at Cleland Conservation Park near Adelaide.

Title: Through No.5
Material: Polycarbonate, polyester vinyl and wood
Liz West (b.1985) is a British artist known for her wide-ranging works, from the intimate to the monumental. Using a variety of materials and exploring the use of light, she blurs the boundaries between sculpture, architecture, design and painting to create works that are both playful and immersive. West has been commissioned worldwide by institutions and organisations including Natural History Museum, London Design Festival, Paris Fashion Week, Milan Design Week, National Trust, National Science and Media Museum, Dubai Design Week, Natural England, Salford University, Fortnum & Mason and Bristol Biennial. West’s work has been included in exhibitions at St Albans Museum + Gallery, Chester Cathedral, Compton Verney, Musée Nissim de Camondo in Paris, Kraftwerk Berlin, Tripostal Lille and Bangalore International Centre.
Artist Statement:
West creates vivid environments that mix luminous colour and radiant light. West aims to provoke a heightened sensory awareness in the viewer through her works. She is interested in exploring how sensory phenomena can invoke psychological and physical responses that tap into our own deeply entrenched relationships to colour. West's investigation into the relationship between colour and light is often realised through an engagement between materiality and a given site. Our understanding of colour can only be realised through the presence of light. By playing and adjusting colour, West brings out the intensity and composition of her spatial arrangements.
