Deze Schindler-treinstellen uit 1966 zijn in 1985 overgenomen van de Birsigtalbahn Basel-Rodersdorf, toen die als onderdeel van Baselland Transport overschakelde op trammaterieel. Ze reden nog tot oktober 2016 in de normale dienst.
De kleur van de banken duidt niet op een klasseverschil, maar is een herinnering aan het onderscheid tussen de afdelingen 'roken' (rood) en 'niet-roken' (groen)

These train sets, built by Schindler in 1966, were acquired 1985 from the Birsigtalbahn company, when the Basel-Rodersdorf line switched to tramway operation as part of the newly-formed Baselland Transport network. They were in regular service until October 2016
The colour of the seats has nothing to do with class difference, but refers to the former 'smoking' (red) and 'no smoking' (green) compartments

...here are three adventures, or scavengers slowly lowering themselves in to the hull of a dark space-wreck, many ships run engine failures in space of crash in to asteroids and similar stuff, it is illegal according to common space law, since the company is the only rightful looter, but many try anyway since there can be great loot to be found, antique technic stuff, precious metals or even diamonds!
it is not only illegal but also dangerous since space thugs, pirates and strange creatures can lurk inside these ruin-wrecks there can also be explosives and radiation leaks... oh wait isn´t there something moving behind that skeleton?
The baroque Church of St. Theresa and Ausros Street leading to the shrine with a revered Madonna painting Our Lady of the Dawn, venerated for centuries. This is the city view of the last surviving gate built in the first years of 1500s together with city walls which were to protect Vilnius from Tatar invaders. I made another calotype of the other side of the gate and city wall here flic.kr/p/GDn52N . My first visit to Lithuania.
This was the third of four exposures I made on that trip and I was hoping for enough evening sunlight to lit the shrine when I set up the tripod. Just as I was ready a dark cloud appeared and covered the sun. A cold wind picked up in strength blowing from the direction of the gate. I had no choice but to start exposing as it was my last evening here and the most important site. Some three minutes in the exposure (12 min in total) the wind blew harder and pushed the camera nearly knocking it down, I am sure I cought it when it was falling down but managed to put it back on all three legs of the tripod. This happened twice! Well, what is the chance that the tripod falls back into exactly the same position? I thought may be less than 5% and did not expect much from it. Still, this slightly blurred image seems to deny common sense. Was it another miracle from the Ostrobramska Madonna painting? My mother strongly believed in her powers when she lived here as a teenager. Some locals still believe the place has extraordinary Powers www.flickr.com/gp/51129607@N07/5No481

It started as a MOD but I think it's more a MOC right now. For the building I combined the design of the set and my former Pizzeria.
I will build it with bricks in the next months, so no interiour shots.
Also I modded the scooter to look like a real one.

in 2024-2025, BKM Holding will deliver 79 new trolleybuses of model 321 of the Olgerd series to St. Petersburg. Last year, Gorelektrotrans received 97 trolleybuses with an increased autonomous range of up to 20 kilometres, model 32100D. In the new ordered series 321 ‘Olgerd’ instead of a compartment with batteries - 5 seating passenger seats, 35 in total, so the reduction of autonomous travel to 250 m contributed to an increase in passenger capacity up to 96 people. The model for St. Petersburg is equipped with various options, including not only USB ports, video cameras, multimedia system, climate control, but also ‘Warm Floor’, ‘Talking City’, driver wakefulness monitoring system and other useful sensors. LED interior lighting and signal lines at the doors are used. The current collectors are equipped with an automatic boom catching system and a system of automatic placement on the catenary network, which does not require the driver to leave the vehicle. In the present trolleybus also you can see additional seat in the driver's cabine for an instructor.
Next to Olgerd trolleybus made in Belarus is seen another low-floor city trolleybus made in Russia by the Trans-Alfa of deeply refreshed ВМЗ-5298-01 Авангард model that received extended autonomous work from the new party of 166 trolleybuses produced for St Petersburg during 2022-23 yy. Modernised Trans-Alfa ВМЗ-5298-01 "Avangard" trolleybuses has extended autonomous work, air conditioning, automatic firefighting system, communication complex GLONASS/GPS, refreshed interiour with new USB 3.0-connectors for charging, Wi-Fi, LED lighting, video surveillance system and onboard navigation.
History of BKM Holding
Olgerd trolleybuses are produced by the Belarus company Belkommunmash (BKM; Производственное Объединение «Белкоммунмаш», БКМ). BKM was organized in 1973 on the basis of the streetcar and trolleybus repair shop under the Ministry of Municipal Economy of the Belarusian Soviet Socialist Republic. During the first two decades the plant was repairing trolleybuses and streetcars of Minsk. After USSR breakage the independent Belarus got a strong incentive to develop its own vehicles production. Therefore a few articulated trolleybuses YMZ T1 (ЮМЗ Т1) were assembled at the plant in 1993 from engineering sets of Yuzhny Machine Building Plant of Ukraine. The enterprise also modernized trolleybuses of the ZIU models 100 - 101 produced by the Engels Electric Transportation Plant (later CJSC "TrolZa") in Engels, Saratov region of Russia. Later the company started to develop its own trolleybus models, the first model AKSM 201 (АКСМ 201) appeared in 1996, followed by models 213, 221, 321 (as in foto) and 333. Since 2000 the production of streetcars started: AKSM-1M, AKSM-60102. In 2016, the production of electric buses has been organized. Today the BKM Holding (ОАО «Управляющая компания холдинга «Белкоммунмаш» - ОАО «УКХ «БКМ) is the leading industrial enterprise in Belarus in the field of production and overhaul of rolling stock of urban electric transport.
History of Tran-Alfa Plant
In 1994 the Vologda Mechanical Plant (Вологодский механический завод, ВМЗ; VMZ) was transformed into a joint stock company which decided to work in the field of transport engineering and to produce trolleybuses. In 1996 was established the assembly of trolleybuses Škoda 14TrM. In 1997 the trolleybus model VMZ-170 (ВМЗ-170) with increased reliability and electrical safety was developed and put into mass production. In 1999 the next model was presented, VMZ-263, with new body design, comfortable passenger compartment and driver's cabin. In 2000 the first Russian low-floor model VMZ-375 "Leader" (model 5298) was presented. Then the company started development and production of buses. Thus, the first model 5278 of the large class bus designed for urban and suburban transportation was produced. From 2008 to 2011 the enterprise produced city and suburban buses based on KamAZ chassis under the Olimp brand. In 2001 production of trolleybuses was separated into an independent enterprise JSC Trans-Alfa. In 2002 the first Russian low-floor trolleybus Trans-Alfa 5298-01 Avangard (updated VMZ-375, model 5298 Leader) was declared the winner of the contest "100 Best Products of Russia". In 2003 the company's first articulated trolleybus - model 6215 - was put into production, then in 2006 its low-floor version 62151. Since 2013 the financial problems of the plant, which is on the verge of bankruptcy, began. Nevertheless, the production continues. The Trans-Alfa trolleybuses can be found everywhere in Russia and in some foreign countries.
In 1901-1902 this small church was built on behalf of a Polish prince.It took another 10 years to finish the interiour and decoration.
It served for several years until the Germans blow up the basement doors during world war 2.
After this incident, the church fell into disrepair. Local people stole everything that was worth something.
Visited this location in September 2014
