Miles from the enemy mountain base, Sgt. Stone and Agent Helix activate a high-tech precision signal jammer to impede Cobra's communications, sensors, and targeting systems.
Having not seen regular train movements in nearly a decade, the brief and final flurry of activity warranted a road closure and police escort down the 1/3 of a mile through the center of busy Monroe Street.
ME SW1500 (EMD blt. Oct. 1966 as RFP 91) is making the first of three moves this day as they pull and 11 car train of donated former NYGL equipment up from Dundee Island Yard. The Garfield police blocked traffic at intersections and then escorted the train up making for an easy walking chase up the sidewalk.
The spire of the Albanian American Islamic Society mosque at the intersection of Cambridge Street provides an interesting backdrop for the historic move.

I'm sorry these images are my old pictures. The system automatically deleted some images from my photostream. I don't know why. I can't help restoring the setting of 'viewing privacy'. Feel free to ignore them!

Constructive interference is an effect caused when two small waves combine to produce one bigger wave. The wave on the right has been reflected by Fort Perch Rock, and combines with one of the sea waves to produce the big plume up the middle of the photograph.
I've wanted to make these bubbles for years, its not as straightforward as you might think especially when you don't have quite the right kit. But I managed... ;-)
Soap film interference colours, Shot using a flat soap film in a wire loop and a LED light source. It turned out the shutter speed was a bit too low in this series.

Now Ibasho gallery in Antwerp makes a little presentation of my work in their bookshop. You can see my prints and portfolio there, though I’ve not made my book yet… Drop in at IBASHO gallery when you visit Antwerp! :)
Generally, hybridisation of macaws in the wild is rare, so I am assuming this Verde Macaw, a cross between a Scarlet Macaw and a Great Green Macaw, may have come about because it was an offspring of two members of a mixed flock of Scarlets and Greens that visited a small Costa Rican farm for a feed and a photographic opportunity for tourists.
A less charitable view is that the farmer was intentionally encouraging cross-breeding for other purposes, including the pet trade. The flock was free to fly in and out of the property at will, but there were a couple of large nest-boxes in view.
