"M91 is the third bear killed by Fugatti since the beginning of the year. This time too he acted under the cover of darkness and immediately after his resolution, so as not to give anyone time to appeal, not even associations used to having to fight against time.
But here everything is orchestrated to avoid any interference. Fugatti's true evil obsession was to continue his campaign of blood and propaganda.
And Minister Pichetto Fratin continues to do nothing while this summer he surprised us with the phrase "killing bears is not the solution". Well Minister, tell us if you really intend to do something or it's just talk."

I took way too many photos of sunsets on our vacation...played around with this one to make it more mysterious and interesting. Hope you have a great day. HSS!
Here’s a new vertical of the old maple tree and an article I just published you may enjoy reading. www.aaronreedphotography.com/gallery/investing-in-art/
This started as a picture of our apple tree in bloom and this is where my muse took me this morning. Hope you have a wonderful day! HSS!
Have you ever seen a cotton ball with legs? That’s what it was like seeing this impossibly tiny Piping Plover yesterday (Wednesday). A huge thanks to my friends who I met through Instagram, @acouplewithoutborders, for spending the day with and showing me some amazing places. And for helping me to realize a dream of seeing the youngest shorebirds I have ever had the great privilege to see. Piping Plovers are classified by the IUCN as “Near Threatened” with a population fewer than 7000 individuals. So when we found them running around on the beach, outside the protected area, we stayed far back and crouched down low to prevent interference. While we watched they came closer and closer to us, allowing us great views. We didn’t stay long and I did not go back this morning. Even though I would have been thrilled to see them again, I thought it was better to leave them alone. As you can see from this image, Piping Plovers, as with all shorebirds, are precocial. They are able to move around on their own and feed themselves shortly after hatching.
Due to fires in the province west of ours, (BC) smoke fills our air. This makes for some interesting light in the sky since haze and smoke interfere with the suns light.
OOC of IC: The quiet night would be interrupted by dense gunshots echoing at the heart of the ruined settlment. Supposedly it was abandoned, and great loot was to be scavenged. The only thing they found was nothing but hordes of Ghouls...
Alexandra kept her cyclopian gaze into her targets, pulling the trigger wildly: "So any response on the S.O.S.?!" She barked with impatience. Charlotte, the less bellicose twin snaps from her sister's impertinence: "Maybe I would be able to listen into any...if you stop SHOOTING FOR ONE @!% MINUTE!"

This is Interference 3V, a new LEGO Vic Viper variant. (Update: There's now a a design video on YouTube.)
The model was tracking for (2021) Nnovvember, but paused several months awaiting some elements in ‘chrome steel’ finish. I used the big break time to translate the model to digital; for my first time, I have both the in-real-life build (e.g. in this photo) and model file (more to come using this!).
Design-wise, I had fun with this build, particularly on the:
* Cockpit, with the whole unit banked downward behind a surround for a "wedge" effect
* Shaping and geometry for the section over the ‘wing’ (I found it extra hard)
* Bringing color blocking + texture to the prongs while keeping internal strength
* And some other playful bits… :)

The Heliconius butterfly can live up to 9 months while neotropical butterflies normally live a couple weeks! They are able to do this because they increase their protein intake by digesting pollen on their proboscis.
Heliconius butterflies have two unique traits: pollen feeding and pupal-mating. Adult butterflies systematically collect pollen from flowers which they masticate on the proboscis to dissolve out amino acids. Since they do not need to store nutrients for egg and sperm production, caterpillars are able to develop rapidly allowing adults to have a greatly extended lifespan in the wild.
Pupal mating is a second unusual trait found in some Heliconius species. Males search for female pupae on larval food plants and sit on them. The next morning mating occurs before the female has completely emerged. Pupal-mating may enhance the possibility of intrageneric mimicry. Second, it may influence host-plant specialization, as pupal-mating species may displace other heliconiines from their hosts by interference competition.
About the name... Helicon is a mountain in southern Greece, in Boeotia, regarded in ancient Greece, as the source of poetry and inspiration. From it flowed the fountains of Aganippe and Hippocrene associated with Muses. The nine Muses are daughters of Zeus and Mnemosyne, the goddess of memory. The Muses sat near the throne of Zeus, king of the gods, and sang of his greatness and the origin of the world.
