So this is how the design should look to cover all the levels of interactivity.

“The Interact Center visual art’s department presents Creature Faces & Fantasy Places, a collection of new work by eleven visual artists. Creature Faces & Fantasy Places explores the realm of fantasy, magic, and science fiction-inspired abstraction. Through subject matter ranging from a tiny sprite perched on a brightly-colored bee, to a grim tableau of skeletal World War I soldiers on the battlefield, to a perspective-defying example of 4th dimension architecture, all of the work is tied together by the artist’s desire to explore the unknown and the fantastical.”

At INTERACTIVE Pavilion we showcased a variety of the newest IT/technology related products from hardware and software to digital arts and sciences. People enjoyed experiencing and seeing the cutting-edge technology coming straight from Japan.

Class: Design Interactive Design One; Level: Junior; Digital/Scan Collage: Circle Studies; Instructors: Michael Hersrud & Levi Hammett; Student: Maha Al-Darwish

Project comparing three variations of an interface to complete one task. Students were asked to pick a single task (with draw money, cook dinner, etc). Then select three different ways in which it can be accomplished. The select ways must include some sort of 'interface' to complete the task (an atm, bank teller, telephone, website, etc). Each student had to 'test' the three interfaces and report back in a simple presentation format using visuals and text to support their findings.

One thing about mathisworks illustrations is that they're consistent, so if you want to use a few of them to tell a story, it will feel consistent (as though you hired an expensive custom agency). Here's an interactive graphic from Milwaukee's Journal Sentinal that does exactly that, using various healthcare illustrations: www.istockphoto.com/search/lightbox/10053376
