Kuda is an interactive, architectual project. When the sensors are touched, fluids begin to move through the tubes (as seen above). So, the more people interact with the Kuda, the more 'alive' it seems.

"...an interactive tree-shaped object made from various boxes in different shapes and sizes. These boxes will simulate a 'pixelated' image of a tree from a single viewpoint. The object will look obscure and uncomprehendable from every other single viewpoint. The tree will also consist of leaf structures which will be cut from semi-seethrough material which will allow for projection. Part of the leaf structures will be physical while part projected. The tree will react to the viewer, adding him/her to the scene and allowing interaction with the leaves and colors of the tree."
Audiopad is a composition and performance instrument for electronic music which tracks the positions of objects on a tabletop surface and converts their motion into music. One can pull sounds from a giant set of samples, juxtapose archived recordings against warm synthetic melodies, cut between drum loops to create new beats, and apply digital processing all at the same time on the same table.

retroYou r/c is an interactive software project that is based on a conventional computer game. Joan Leandre re-programmed the software of a racing game in several steps by manipulating the rules, which simulate space, movement, gravity etc. The game is still recognizable, but not controllable in its usual way. Like a screensaver it runs seemingly self-contained and reacts only marginally to user action.
retroYou r/c was nominated for the transmediale competition in the category Software.
I love interactive fiction, and I love the most-excellent Gargoyle interpreter. Here is a screenshot of it running on my OLPC XO-1. The high DPI on the OLPC screen makes for a stunning display.
This is Gargoyle running fullscreen under Sugar.
