Kids interactive. Kids look at various "art manifestos" then write their own one then fold it into a pot shape and add mulch and seeds to "grow their manifesto". Watched for a while, didn't see anyone either read the manifestos or write their own. Lots of plant pots made though.
There were 3 or 4 of these with documentaries running on tv's relating to logging and rural life in NZ. Very interesting.

L&C's third interactive mural was unveiled Tuesday, May 16, 2023. It is entitled, "Grow Through What You Go Through" and the artist is Graphic Design Student Megan Doyle (expected grad, Fall 2023).

Here, Matt Pastore, pediatric genetic counselor at The Regional Genetics Center at Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, discusses with remotely-connecting high school classrooms how genetics affects all of our lives.
In pediatric genetics, children with various birth defects, delays, and/or significant family history are evaluated to determine if they have an underlying genetic cause. Genetic counseling for several common conditions will be presented, including risk assessment, genetic testing, and psychosocial counseling.

My friend Chris and I went to the Marian Koshland Science Museum in Washington DC this weekend. This has got to be one of the best museums in the city and you get a lot for the cost of admission (a mere $5 for adults and $3 for students!): awesome interactive exhibits; great movies and tons and tons of information. Their current exhibit is the one seen here on Global Warming. The future doesn't look so good unless we make much more dramatic changes than we've been considering to this point. If you're in DC, check this place out! You won't be disappointed!
