In the print making lesson that i created these prints in, i wanted to interact with some of my 3D created people, so i decided to run them through the printing press to try to make a flat print onto a piece of paper.
This is a slide from the talk we gave at Open Source Bridge in Portland in June, 2011. In this talk we take a practical look at the design process and techniques everyone should know.
How many product ideas never make it to market? Some failure is OK, but why does it happen so often? We don’t believe it’s because of bad ideas. We believe that teams are missing a holistic approach to design for people, inside and outside the organization.

Colombo schooled Pera Alumni's and Undergraduates' Annual Get-together 'CMBUNITE 2k16' for a better bond and for a better interaction between undergraduates, staff members and alumni members, organized by the undergraduates of University of Peradeniya was held on 10th of June 2016, from 600pm onwards at Amaya Hills Kandy, with the participation of The Deputy Vice Chancellor of University of Peradeniya Prof. R. L. Wijeyeweera and many other staff members as they themselves belonged to the crowd of that glorious night.
The event was sponsored by LTL Holdings (Pvt) Ltd, amanté, Ariyawansa Jewellers, SLT and the partners of the event were Amaya Hills and DJ Nalin a well-known DJ with his own skills who made the crowd go wild and there were many activities and events which made all the undergraduates and alumni feel closer.
Night was a success and it was full of gorgeous ladies, handsome gentlemen and full of happenings. The air was full of happiness and excitement. People were so lovely and full of spirit with their young minds, wild hearts and beautiful souls. Activities were so interacting and fun events were great and exciting dinner was superb as Amaya Hills always does Enthusiasm of the crowd was so high, The DJ was making the dance floor go crazy.

The Italian architect Aldo Rossi designed the Teatro del Mondo for the 1980 Venice Architecture Biennale, an exhibition that heralded the arrival of architectural postmodernism. The installation, a floating theatre, was initially anchored on a barge at the eastern end of Venice’s Grand Canal; after the Biennale, it sailed across the Adriatic Sea for a theatre festival in Dubrovnik before being dismantled in 1981.
The four-hundred-capacity theatre comprises a central cube capped by an octagonal tower and pointed dome and flanked by two taller, thinner rectangular volumes. Several square windows dot its yellow wood-plank facade, and a band of sky blue wraps the top of the cube and the tower just below the dome, which is finished in aqua-green zinc and marked by a jaunty triangular flag.
Rossi’s sketches often set the Teatro del Mondo against a crowded grouping of typical Venetian towers and churches, highlighting its connection with urban forms of the past. The theatre also taps into a Venetian tradition of ephemeral architecture, particularly floating structures produced for the annual Carnival. Nonetheless, the theatre’s formal references remain abstract and oddly timeless, less reliant on irony and symbolism—as in other concurrent strains of postmodernism—than on a sense of collective urban memory.

The American architect Michael Graves won a city-sponsored competition to design a municipal services building in Portland, Oregon, in 1979. Completed in 1982, the resulting structure, known as the Portland Building, was the first major realised example of architectural postmodernism. Like images of the controversial, widely published project, the style quickly spread, helping to define architectural aesthetics and conversations worldwide into the 1990s.
The squat, fifteen-storey building is visually divided into three parts: a dark green loggia base, a beige body punctuated by a grid of square windows and decorated with abstracted columns and other elements from Western classical architecture, and a roof topped with a series of smaller structures. Portlandia, a symbolic copper repoussé sculpture by Raymond Kaskey, stands above the entrance. Graves’s liberal use of colour and reference to past architectural forms—for example, oversized, ruddy red ‘keystones’ on the east and west facades—mark a definite shift away from modernism’s lack of ornament and emphasis on expression of structure. Playfully exaggerated mouldings and a consistent, earthy palette of paint carry Graves’s figural approach through to the offices inside.

It’s easy to take for granted that the interfaces we’ve become so accustomed to onscreen – buttons, icons, cursors – rarely reflect the interactions we have in our physical environment. Innovation in technology is advancing faster than ever and in many cases, it’s returning us to how we relate to the real world. However, there remains the risk that there’s a cost, paid in a loss of genuine, human interaction.
Beryl investigates how to use advances in tech to create a more natural, humanistic interaction in digital space. How can we use emerging technologies to bring back emotions and empathy to our daily interfaces? In this talk Beryl provides insight into how we can humanize technology – and create a better user experience in the process.
A crowd of amused onlookers admires the parking lot display of the Hot Wheels Race Track at Radwood SoCal at the Honda Corporate Office in Torrance, Calif. on November 20, 2021. The display provides a place for car show attendees to take a break from walking around the event, and attracts fans of all ages and genders.

Protestors occupy the sidewalk next to McDonald's across the street from the Federal building in Dallas. College students, war veterans and homeless people protested a wide variety of issues including big government, unemployment, underemployment, greedy corporations, war and debt. The Occupy Dallas movement began at 9 a.m. and lasted late into the evening. It was a continuation of the movement that started on Wall Street in New York City several weeks ago.

I felt much less worried about what I was doing when using my left hand allowing my mind to flow easier.
This image makes me feel alive. I see a figure curled in a ball with a lot of movement happening. The colours representing my emotions running alongside one another, sometimes on outside and other times on the inside. Some things I am keeping hidden and others I am allowing to be seen.
