The installation operates like a radio tuner that tunes in operas based on visitor position around the water ring. This interactivity will be implemented incrementally during the installation's 2 1/2 month run at the Jack Straw New Media Gallery.

The trophic interaction illustrated here are decomposers rasping on organic matter at the floor of my capstone site. The snail and slugs rasp on decaying wood to obtain nutrients from it.

I think the most influential species in my location are the trees. I think that these are important because of the biomass that they take up and the shading that they present to the forest. Although these trees are very old and take up an enormous amount of mass above ground, they also take up mass underground through their root systems. I think that the mass they occupy is important in limiting the location. They limit the area available, nutrients available (as they probably compete for resources with nearby plants), and they limit the sunlight provided to the plants that do not exceed the tree foliage's height and surface area. If these trees were removed, there could be many more plant species as well as major competition among other plant species. I think that the removal of the trees in my location would completely change the current species make up. If they were replaced with an invasive species the interactions could be complex. However if the invasive species were ideal, they would quickly take over the area and thrive in the environment, damaging or hurting all other species within their proximity.

Three organisms that I previously documented were snails, tall purple flowers, and lily of the valley flowers. The snails are considered decomposers and are food-limited, and since their food is organic debris, this is the ultimate limiting factor. The other two flowers are considered primary producers and they are limited by light and herbivory. They are ultimately limited by available space and available resources. At least, this is what I gather from the article.

1. I think the most influential species at my location is the grass like vegetation and flowers. The flowers are important resources for butterflies and although I am not sue if the grass is a keystone species I definitely think it is a dominant species because it is the most abundant organism at my location.

2. If we were to remove the grass and plants then eventually the butterflies would become extinct from my location. The birds, dragonflies, and other organisms that might feed on the butterflies will suffer and have to find alternative food sources. There would not be as much shelter for organisms that live in the ground and erosion would increase because of more bare ground. The erosion of this soil and nutrients to another location would possibly increase the fertility and diversity in the location.

3. If the grass and flowers were replaced by an invasive species that the butterflies could not utilize as a resource then similar consequences will happen to them as if the grass were just removed. The ground would remain covered and protected so soil erosion may not be a serious threat.

4. Butterfly- I classified adult butterflies as herbivores even though some caterpillars eat small insects as well. Adult butterflies mostly consume nectar from plants. As herbivores, butterflies are controlled by predation from other organisms (Slobodkin, Smith, and Hairston (1960)).

Dragonfly- I classified dragonflies as carnivores or predators because they feed on mosquitoes, small insects and occasionally butterflies. As predators dragonflies are limited by food resources and are food-limited as a group (Slobodkin, Smith, and Hairston (1960).

Oxeye Daisy- Plants are limited by their own exhaustion of resources. They are resource limited (Slobodkin, Smith, and Hairston (1960)).

This is a slide from the talk we gave at Open Source Bridge in Portland in June, 2011. In this talk we take a practical look at the design process and techniques everyone should know.

How many product ideas never make it to market? Some failure is OK, but why does it happen so often? We don’t believe it’s because of bad ideas. We believe that teams are missing a holistic approach to design for people, inside and outside the organization.

Colombo schooled Pera Alumni's and Undergraduates' Annual Get-together 'CMBUNITE 2k16' for a better bond and for a better interaction between undergraduates, staff members and alumni members, organized by the undergraduates of University of Peradeniya was held on 10th of June 2016, from 600pm onwards at Amaya Hills Kandy, with the participation of The Deputy Vice Chancellor of University of Peradeniya Prof. R. L. Wijeyeweera and many other staff members as they themselves belonged to the crowd of that glorious night.

The event was sponsored by LTL Holdings (Pvt) Ltd, amanté, Ariyawansa Jewellers, SLT and the partners of the event were Amaya Hills and DJ Nalin a well-known DJ with his own skills who made the crowd go wild and there were many activities and events which made all the undergraduates and alumni feel closer.

Night was a success and it was full of gorgeous ladies, handsome gentlemen and full of happenings. The air was full of happiness and excitement. People were so lovely and full of spirit with their young minds, wild hearts and beautiful souls. Activities were so interacting and fun events were great and exciting dinner was superb as Amaya Hills always does Enthusiasm of the crowd was so high, The DJ was making the dance floor go crazy.
