Yikes, it's been about 7 month since the last time Ilea was in my stream T_T
I haven't been in the mood to take pics of her, because I don't have many outfits that suit her mature style. So I decided that I should just give her the usual sweet look I like because she deserves more attention!

I was not sure if I was allowed to wander in here and take photos so took a chance, asked the guy at the desk and he was fine with it as long as the shots were not for public use or profit. Not sure I got the best composition here but I would have to say I love all the red bricks and mixed with the modern glass. I want to try this again with my wider lens and maybe get the comp more centred, it looks a bit crooked.

This shot was taken inside of artist's studio during my trip to China in 2012..
The ideas for my "Still life" compositions come from all over - pieces are often based in reality, actual places, things I've seen around, and yet they are infused and layered with places where I've only been in my dreams. My next photo series will demonstrate how pieces of decorative and applied arts can be incorporated into "Still life" compositions...

Megahouse isn't known for secret or special color sets. So when I saw the pink version, haaad to haaave iiit! (scream a la Oprah LOL)
The inflatable tubes are interesting...a version each for boys & girls. The flip-flops are made of rubber. And true to the marked Megahouse craftsmanship, the antiseptic & sun block bottles look so real!
Now if I only know what those small squares are.....

Rebel Troops Hold First City; Rebel Leader Says More to Follow.

Kumalovic, Istern Republic - today the Internal Affairs minister has admitted that "There has been a significant turn of events in our eastern-most province" and that "We have lost contact with all government forces inside Atalovic".
In his address to the public, the minister stated that Atalovic had fallen at approximately 3:00pm yesterday afternoon, with all contact being lost at around 5:00pm. When asked why it took so long for a statement, the minister replied that "During the attack rebels destroyed key communications structures" and added that his ministry was still gathering information.
Last night, several videos surfaced on the internet showing disarray in the city. One video in particular shows several unidentified tanks moving through city streets. Several loud explosions can be heard, as well as the sound of intermittent gunfire.
Another video, this one from a dedicated rebel page, shows rebel leader Anitoli Vdavski standing beside the ruined Town Hall conversing with his top commanders. In it, he states that "This was just the first of many." and claims that "The corrupt government will fall as easily as Atalovic."
Atalovic is a city of 88,000 people, situated in the eastern province of Danav. It is the industrial hub of the province and is the second largest city, second only to the provincial capital Kovic.

Yet another reason that I adore Joel so very much. Yesterday I got a very fun piece of mail. Inside it was an awesome retro postcard and and and my very own Pocket Joel!!!! See, I think Joel is just absolutely adorable, and I've told him time and time again that I wish I could just keep him in my pocket at all times to make me smile when I need it. Well Joel actually made me a Pocket Joel!! Can you believe how awesome he is? Joel, for your information, Pocket Joel is now living inside of my purse so that he goes everywhere I go. Expect picture text proof when I go fun places. :)
It's a rainy Saturday. The kind just made for napping. But instead, Andy and I went out to lunch. We were planning on going to the Kerrytown aritsan market, but it was just too cold and rainy and somebody (coughmecough) thought it would be warm enough to not wear a jacket. Wrong. So we skipped the artisan market in favor of a very disappointing, but dry and warm, visit to the thrift shop. Now we're getting ready to head out to our best friends' house to hang with them and the kiddos. I need to take some pictures because my goddaughter is only getting cuter the older she gets. It's pretty ridiculous how smart and hilarious and adorable she is.

My favortie waders! Hard to find Industrial grade Acton Protecto Hip Waders boots. They are made of natural rubber and have the stong smell of natural rubber. The rubber can take a good shine. Like they are Industrial grade the rubber is chemical resistant and they are steel toe and thick heavy soles. The top part is made of thinner flexible rubber. Acton products are usually Made in Canada but theses are a newer version so they are Made in China but the quality is the same.

Well I think my Dad would be the first to admit to having been a bit of both.
His 90th birthday today and we all went out for a celebratory meal then returned home for cake, sparklers, and believe it or not, cups of tea lol! Have loads of photo's to wade through but just too tired to look tonight.
The camera seems to think it was dark inside our friends Matt & Jack's cozy farmhouse kitchen on Sunday morning, but actually it was quite sunny in there as we had our oatmeal and coffee and caught up on the two months since we'd last been to visit. We were in Connecticut for a family wedding the day before and that gave us a good excuse to stop by for "bed and breakfast". Alas we all had things to do on Sunday so the visit was short.

I always feel so complete once I have fully embraced my female personna. My skirt and top combined with my make up, accessories, perfume and long hair simply complete the connection to the feminine feelings I have deep inside of me. The result is one of overwhelming contentment in finally being the person I truly am.
Massive yet elegant, the Mosque-Madrassa of Sultan Hassan is considered as the finest piece of early-Mamluk architecture in Cairo. It was built between 1356-1363 and features on the 100 Pound Egyptian note.
Inside the Mosque, the hanging lamps came way down from the ceiling and provided for a very interesting perspective. I also liked how the colours were looking here so chose to stray from the monotone look so far for my Cairo shots.

My daughter Bettina and I stopped for a quick lunch at Pop Burger on E 58th St., New York, NY before visiting the Museum of Modern Art this past weekend. The museum was packed but we had a great time admiring the artworks on display. More photos on my FB link below.
